1. What is the intent for appending 'if appropriate ' after 'paid leave' line in the document?

2. Is 'paid leave' paragraph applicable to all categories, including Tier 1? Do tier1 also need to provide employer letter for same?

thanks

New Passport & existing Tier-1 BRP

Hello, I need to get a new passport but have a Tier 1 BRP valid until 2015 with existing passport.

Is there a requirement to get new BRP with new passport or provide change in circumstances form to UKBA? Sorry, can't establish anything definite from online search.

Thanks,

Wordings here are very important. If the payslip says :

Gross: £900

then in my opinion, its only £900 you can claim.

Form posted-forgot to fill one section

Hello, I just posted form for Tier-1 General extension and did a blunder of forgetting to fill page 36 (Section J5), earning figures as we were waiting for accountant letter to get precise figure and forgot to put it in last minute. All evidence is in place and we did mark earnings bracket for which...

Are you good with respect to points with 34999? If yes, why worry?

Make sure that netpay in payslip matches upto each penny with what is credited in your bank.

I still feel they are talking about tax on business. You may opt to register for VAT even with turnover less than 70K if it makes business profitable (outgoing VAT is more than incoming VAT). This will also not be inline with the way UKBA has been considering sole trader net profit for always. Its l...

In my opinion, 'tax' in ('that is, after tax and outgoings)' in guidelines talk about tax on business (like VAT, corporation tax or similar) and not 'income tax' that you pay on profits (at least from point of view of sole-trader). Can someone who has successfuly got his/her Tier-1 with sole-trader ...

What if my 5th anniversary is on weekend. I can't go for PEO before that day. This again is 2/7 probability for anyone so 2nd extension is inevitable unless you are willing to take chance with postal application.

Lets see what extremechatter comes back with.

Thanks. I think we got a lot of matter here. OP, if I would be you (which perhaps I would be :), I'll go for another extension with PEO and then ILR. In either case, even if I do a postal application now and get my visa start date from the present expiry date, I will not be able to apply for ILR wit...

I would not clutter my application with all this. There is a good reason they ask for a set of documents. If they would need more, they would have asked for more.

All the best!

Thanks..and the other downside is if the application turned down (for any reason whatsoever, for argument sake lets take, one of the bank statement is inconsistent with payslip), then there is no scope even for extension..or is there?
