I guess the new passport number but you have to provide the old passport as well
But there is only one section for passport number

I renewed by passport recently, The tier 1 stamp is on old passport, which passport number to put on the section 1

As for as i know paid or unpaid doesn't matter the only thing they look into is not more than 180 days and not exceeding 90 days in a one go. The only exclusion is business trips and any genuine reason. I am in the same board with 269 days QN: If for suppose they say you have been more than 180 days...

I Suppose to apply for ILR in June 2011, But due to absences I may apply in Sep 2011.

qn: Then after for Citizenship do I have apply in June 2012 or Sep 2012?

no need to worry of paid holidays and business tours they are not counted towards 180 days absences when salary is paid for that period I doubt this, I think the paid holidays and business tours counted towards the 180 days, If you go anything over then you have prove thats days.
