Employer received letter from Immigration Enforcement

Hey all, I thought that after getting ILR, I'll have nothing to worry about immigration wise.. I mean I was on PSW then T1 General and then successfully got ILR, no problems anywhere with visa being refused or anything.. Now this morning, my employer showed me a letter they received from home office...

Re: Worried about UK born child application

On which date did HO receive the application? If they got it on the 18th, then you were liable to pay the new fees. Well, that's not what I'm worried about, I know I can't challenge that as they received that application on 18th. Hence I sent a cheque of additional £187. My worry is, they give you ...

Worried about UK born child application

Hi all, I' a bit worried about my son's naturalization application which i sent on 16th March using old fees, which were deducted. But then got a biometric registration letter also saying that I've underpaid fees by £187. So, this is more than a week ago, that I sent a cheque of the remainder paymen...

Re: ILR-ed :D

Had to say, got bit of a scare there, coz appointment was at 8am so went in early and stood outside for a few mins and got called in. Was 3rd in the queue(started at 100 and i was 103). And after an hour or so, docs ready for collection kept coming up with 100, 101, 102, 104, 109, 111.... but not mi...

Re: ILR-ed :D

Yes of course, I kept my application simple and neatly separated every doc or set of docs in transparent L-type doc wallets bought from Sainsburys the night before PEO  . So docs were as follows(each of these were in separate doc wallets): - Set(O) form filled and signed with pic in tiny en...

Urgent: question about personal history

Hey all, In Set(O) form Section 7 say to include criminal convictions including traffic offences but not fixed penalty such as speeding... Now I've a speeding fine, as most will probably know and was fined through court and got SP30. So now the confusion is, should I mention it here in criminal conv...

Re: ILR application query regd FPN tickets&Statutory declara

my other post was locked(having an interesting conversation there).. Just wanted to ask one small question, I've done a credit report from noddle and clearscore and both giving a good score, plus in judgements or court actions it says none. Does that mean that I don't have any conviction against me ...

Re: Speeding fine through court and ILR

dont get me wrong, I'm not denying that I didn't do any wrong or I should be allowed to overspeed based on certain circumstances.. What I did was wrong and won't be doing that ever again.. but was just trying to give myself some hope(maybe false) that case worker may overlook this and look at my cha...

Re: Speeding fine through court and ILR

well yes, if u r in a well built residential area, but if ur on a long stretch of clear road in an industrial area late at night, then I dont think its reckless.. don't u think. in fact the officer told me that he was quite delighted with our conversation, but he had to send the ticket to traffic of...

Re: Speeding fine through court and ILR

Also read somewhere, that 2-3 out of 10 people are caught speeding in the UK, sometimes just a smidgen over and sometimes a lot, and that shouldn't make them a person of bad character/criminal. Which is what they look for when they grant u visa. Like me for instance, I've never oversped in my life, ...

Speeding fine through court and ILR

Hey all, Need ur experiences/inputs, would be great if anyone in similar situation has recently got ILR and experts to chip in. Now I know that speeding in general if its fixed penalty, then ur not required to even mention it in the form. But my case is, unluckily, I was doing 57 in a 30 zone late a...

Re: Cant come to UK due to death

My condolences with ur brothers sister in law, indeed its a sad time for them. As far as ur brother's wife is concerned, if she hasn't entered the UK yet after getting her visa in Oct2015 and is not able to come until after her visa expires, then I think ur brother will need to apply FLR(M) for his ...

QUick question about Tier 1 gneral dep ext

Hi all, I know there'll quite a few now out there who have done this, i.e. Main applicant gone for ilr and dependant gone for extension in same category. Now I'm in the same situation, the only problem is, I got my T1 on 6th April 2011 and when I applied extension, I posted my application around 6th...

Reading this has got me worried now.. My wife who came in Sep2013 will be completing her 5years of stay in Sep 2018, what will happen to her case? Will she be able to apply for ILR? I'm eligible for ILR in Mar2016 and her dependant visa is expiring in Mar2016, and I was thinking about getting anothe...
