But let some expert answer that, coz i dont really know whether in appeal, u can send extra documents like the COS, wich u didn...

hi there amoid, i think ur best bet is not to go for that option, if ur employer is applying now for COS, coz they r jst rejecting it anyways, apart from the ones on shortage occupation list on salary above 20k and ones who have a high end salary, like above 32k in a non-shortage occupation list. if...

I have a question regarding salary if the COS gets approved. the thing is, my employer has put salary of 40k and the job is also in shortage occupation list(Comissioning Engineer) for which hourly rate is 12.56 or 13 which if you put as 40hrs per week, the yearly becomes 26,000. So my question is, h...

Does this mean that anybody who is in non-shortage occupation list, even if employer has conducted resident labour market test, and anybody on PSW should not waste their time and energy.. and lose hope for their COS request???

Tier1 might go out

Hi all,
i've read other posts and also heard from a friend of mine that HO might totally get rid of T1 scheme in next year and only make T2 as a route to work in uk, which is quite alarming to me.
now question is, if someone is already on T1, does that mean that he'll not be able to extend his visa.

another thing, my employer is saying that he'll give me a raise around christmas to 24 or 25k.. will that do the job for an ok salary?
and can we put that new salary in while applying for a COS or do we have to put the salary I'm currently on?
