Re: Bank Letter Date

thanks but it is not like that, he applied on say 19th dec and got the letter on 21st dec! It is due to their new weird application system in which application date is not the date you go to visa centre (what used to be) but the date you submit your application online. so we happen to have a scenari...

Thank you. As I said they are not older than 31 days before the date of application, technically they are issued after date of application and it is his issue!

Bank Letter Date

Hi, My friend is going to apply for Tier 1 in 3 weeks. He submitted the form and paid the application fee. he is applying from outside the UK. Now he is going to get the bank letter. However, he just noticed in the guidance that the letter should be issued within 31 days immediately before applicati...

Tier 1 Graduate entrepreneur to Tier 1 E

Hi All, I have two questions, I've read the guidance but real world applications are more helpful in such situations: 1-Applicants switching from Tier 1 Graduate entrepreneur should have been active in their proposed business activities? Guidance clearly says no, but someone said without prove of bu...

Re: Police Registration

Thank you.

I myself dont see it as a big issue as according to the immigration rules failure to register without reasonable excuse is a crime. I had a good excuse as I left the country very quickly.

However, I want to be sure and so appreciate any comment.

Police Registration

Dear All, I am going to apply for British Citizenship in March. As per the new requirements, there should not be any evasion of immigration control in the last 10 years. I came to the UK in 2008 on a student visa but I left the UK in couple of days due to personal matters. I was required to register...

Re: Receive the visa while in the UK

Yes she now has a 33 months visa. I guess the new rules were not in force when she applied for the visa as she did not receive any accompanying letter about how to collect the BRP.

I read somewhere that the new rules started to roll out from end of July 2015 whereas my friend applied in June 2015.

Re: Receive the visa while in the UK

thank you for your reply. VAC Istanbul returns your passport on the day of application just for settlement routes and then lets someone else to submit it whenever the decision is made. Embassy was aware of the situation and they could have easily seen her previous visitor visa. even the old visa is ...

Receive the visa while in the UK

Hi, My friend applied for spouse settlement visa and received it recently. he had a visitor visa and so after submitting the application he travelled to the UK to stay with his friends. Someone else submitted his passport when the decision was made and then brought it back for him. Now, does he have...

Appointment Booking

Hi, I am trying to book an appointment for my friend in Croydon. He created an account, chose the service, paid the IHS, see the slots and now when he wants to book the appointment he receives the following message: We can not check your case ID. This is due to a technical problem. Please try again ...

Trinity College URN

Hi Everybody, one of my friends applied for spouse visa under Appendix FM. He did the Trinity College London Graded Test at level 2 after 6th April. Being forced to do something irrational is different from saying something is fine and reasonable. UKVI can check all these information, you can see many issues regarding t...

Re: New AN Form

Yes its a hassle but citizenship is a priviledge and not a right. I dont particularly think its a hassle when it would take an hour maximum on the phone for them to tell u the dates n places of employment. Being unemployed is not a sign of bad character because employment is not a requirement to be...

Re: New AN Form

Again it is just kind of hassle for applicants. Caseworker could contact HMRC himself. They charge over £1,000 and do not bother themselves to give a call?

And what if I did not work for periods of time? It is sign of a bad character?

Re: UKBA reply over Naturalization employment history

I really dont know what was their intention to add such question. What is it to do with good character? they just make life more difficult day by day. Also, they can easily reach HMRC and check everything. what is the purpose of asking applicant? and why 10 years? I did not work for periods of my vi...

Hi everybody, UKVI published new AN form. In the new form there is a section asking employment in the last 10 years in the UK! PCN

Hi,

I am asking for my friend. I've read tons of topics but I am still not sure if someone has to declare PCN (Parking) on SET(O) form?

None of the questions ask it and they are all about criminal and civil convictions. But both guidances and advices are vague.

Thank you in advance.

Cash Saving

Hi, I have a question which I could not find a definite answer to it. it is actually for my friend, is it possible that someone applies for Spouse visa and uses just cash saving (£63000) for financial requirements? I've heard that it could be used on its own and it should be used to compensate short...

Re: varying an application following PEO appointment

You can vary your application before any decision has been made. It seems that you should apply by post but there is a topic in this forum that even you can do it at PEO. When you fill the application form in many questions there is an option that your documents are with UKVI. Also you can write a l...

Re: unpaid absence from U.K

The rules and guidance are so unclear and vague about this matter. Their replies in What Do They Know are not accurate in my view. But I guess your absence is classified as compassionate reason and so you can prepare related documents.
