The guidance for Tier 1 clearly states 90 days!

However unless you have shortage of funds after 27 Oct 2010, you can take start date as 1st of a particular month till last date of the third month i.e. 1st of Aug till 31st Oct.

Keep this in mind that nobody can check your account balance of any date unless you have provided the other party access to it. Now what you have provided is statements from a particular 'Start date' till a 'End date'. Beyond the 'End date' nobody (except the IT department probably) can have a look ...

You seem to have understood the guidelines clearly.

Is there a specific doubt then ask, nobody can foolproof your application apart from you yourselves!

'Let's play safe' is not how a guideline has to be interpreted. The answer has to be a clear 'yes' or a 'no'. I am saying this because 'by playing safe' we confuse ourselves and others as well. 'The letter has to be dated not more than one month from the date of the application' implies that UKBA of...

Though it is ideal that you maintain that amount so that in case you need to file a repeat application (not an ideal but probable scenario), but I think it is not at all a problem to apply using the funds which were lying in your account which you showed as proof of 'maintenance funds'. Since the gu...

I would assume that anything appearing on the payslip is a part of the 'earnings'. The reason is: Lets assume you were paid at a rate which is 20% more than the otherwise earning rate, but the reason being you were posted outside your 'home' work location, then it ought to be considered as part of e...

The policy guidance no where states that in case of a joint account, the applicant needs to prove that there is no objection from the other joint holder/s of the account. I have not provided my marriage certificate in my application.

Also, I have mentioned that my spouse will not be accompanying me in the next 12 months.

I hope that should be fine. I haven't heard any 'Main' applicant getting rejected for want of a marriage certificate.

Ideally printout on any paper+stamped and a covering letter for the statements mentioning the details (from date and end date) should be good enough. You can claim any number of points depending on any consecutive 12 month period over the last 15 months.

So if you just want to show 5 months earning, as long as they are in the 12 month period which you want to claim, then you are good to go!
