Re: Name error on the first UK Passport

Hi
Contact the HMPO to inform them of the issue. Their phone number will be in the white leaflet "Your new passport" that
came with your passport. Or you can google contact HMPO.

Re: PR Refused - Please help review

Hi If i remember right you went with a paper appeal, if yes then basically its either the court makes a decision or the home office concedes and withdraws the appeal.I'd be surprised if they concede. You've got to remember your appeal was lodged based on the 1st and 2nd applications and didnt have ...

Re: PR Refused - Please help review

Hi However, today I got a hearing date for 31st of August 2017 for the appeal that I made when I was refused earlier; the court have asked me to send in if anymore supporting documents to the tribunal and also to the UKBA - I have now done this today to both parties.-- Thats positive news, I hope yo...

Re: minimum earnings/working hours

EU law doesn't specify any minimum working hours or amounts earned, however the home office say work must be "genuine and effective". Google "minimum earning threshold", a search on the forum might also shed some light on your question.

Re: Requirement for CSI after PR?

Reading your post, if you have received "confirmation of pr" in January you definitely won't need CSI anymore. However if what you mean by receiving pr in January is based on "acquiring pr" and haven't actually had confirmation of pr from the home office it would be advisable to keep hold of CSI unt...

Re: Fees for private citizenship ceremony

I do get your point CR001, maybe I'm just playing devils advocate because I had exactly the same experience and paid for a private ceremony because I didn't fancy waiting 6 weeks for a group ceremony. I just wanted to get it over with, although I was promised refreshments for my guests (2 people) we...

Re: Fees for private citizenship ceremony

Another example of a rather increasing practice with some councils where there's no general ceremony appointments for 6 weeks, but an appointment miraculous turns up in a few days if you're willing to pay another £100 (or more in some cases), for a ceremony that lasts 10 minutes! Real shame, but on ...

Thank you so much for explaining me "CR001", and Yes, she is an EU citizen, but if NCS ask her passport what i will say ? ? Not relevant to submit an EU citizen passport. The only reason the form has this piece is there are slightly different requirements if your spouse is a British Citizen, which ...

Re: Application for PR.. Please help me

You will need to add your own (non EEA) evidence of treaty rights to make up the 5 year period. I'd suggest using Dec 2012 as that's when treaty rights clock started. If the decree absolute comes after Dec 2017 good, if it comes before fine, just ensure you have all the original proof of ex spouse w...

Re: Application for PR.. Please help me

It's important to have clarity of thought, so if you've both agreed that's the end it is what it is. Just to clarify, the 5 years exercise of treaty right can be a combination of time spent as a family member + time after the decree absolute. So basically if the decree absolute is issued before the ...

Re: PR Refused - Please help review

You're welcome, make sure you make and keep copies of all the documents (including signed and dated cover letter) you send with the new application. Just in case you get a hearing date whilst the application is being dealt with. Photocopies will be okay to use in court.
All the best.

Re: Application for PR.. Please help me

Hi fmstyles01 The relevant 5 year treaty rights period in your case will be from December 2012-December 2017. If you do initiate divorce proceeding in October 2017 as you said, it'll probably take longer than 2 months to get a decree absolute (up to 6 months likely April 2018), hence you'll have bee...

Re: Application for PR.. Please help me

You can apply for PR, if you do apply for PR without including your partners Proof of ID whilst still married, your application is likely to be unlawfully refused with HO's current hostile environment. If all fails and you're unable to gain the support of EEA sponsor to give you their ID, then proce...

Re: Divorce with EEA national of NON EEA

Hi Aaarshad, First thing first, try and save your marriage and if that fails then at least you tried.. I think the strength of the evidence you have will determine if divorce proceedings should be initiated and ultimately if you'll be successful with retaining your rights and getting ROR. For a succ...
