shahjeee that is a good positive sign regarding your partners application, unless they send it by mistake, very unlikely you have a good reason to smile :) im waiting to see whats going on with my wife application i dont know what is takaing them so long

jassi i really do feel for you mate hope things work out for you, i dont recommend the surinder route right now i heard its gone quite tough and they will do more investigation on moving there etc, you either appeal, or reapply

How much income did u showed them ? I earn 19.000 per annum 365 befre gross, 297 after.. wow, i earn 1600 per month after tax i get £1323.24 i provided 9 months wage slips/bank statements, instead of 6 ,

i just dont understand what taking them so long, there people who applied in october got there visa saying that though there still people that been waiting way longer than us, but i know i have met the income threshold so i have a right to be vocal about it

To Ash2006 Because you received the email after 3 weeks of letter, it is likely that they put you on hold because the email you received latest, but the question really is for what reason are you on hold? You say you meet the requirement, yet they put you on hold. I mean everyone else on this forum...
