When can we book the PEO appointment, how earlier can you book an appointment as the qualifying 28 days is in May so can I book an appointment for May 2012 now? 2. If a dependent ...

Re: Over 18 dependant's application form ILR (settlement)

My father entered United Kingdom with HSMP Visa on 13th October 2006. I and my mother have entered on 2nd February 2007. I was 14 back then and I am now 19 years old. I have finished my A-levels; I took a gap year last year. I have just finished my 9 month industrial placement where I worked full t...

Residence Requirement for Naturalisation

Hi everyone, We have got our ILR last month. I might go out of country for 18-20 months in connection with my job. My wife would qualify and apply for her passport in Dec this year and hopefully should get it as my family would be staying here in the UK. My question is when I return back before 2 ye...

ILR @ Liverpool

Hi everyone. I have learned a lot from this forum so thought I would share my experience with the members now. I booked an appointment by phone in Nov, and the only appointment availale at that time was at Liverpool (main applicant + 2 dependants). I went with my wife there at around 8:25am the appo...

Re: Indefinite Leave to remain

Can anyone please confirm if the biometrics are done for Set(M) and Set(O) ILR applications? The payment has been taken on 19th December 2011 but no acknowledgement has been received so far. Also does the underpayment of tax (due to wrong tax code in employment) affect the ILR application? Boimetri...

As mentioned earlier, the UKBA site says to bring the dependants to the appointment. And there should not be any confusion about that. Although the FAQ in this site says not to take the dependants along, it is individual's choice whether to risk the money in case the HO finds no other way but the a...

Why are you worried? You are no affected by this anyway. There was a time, as mentioned in the form, when points for Bachelors degree were not awarded but you dont fall in that as clearly you got the points when you initially applied for T1G.

Any advise from senior members? You have got one day advantage. How early could I apply for ILR?

Hi everyone, A dumb question. I entered into the UK on 21 Jan 2007. Would over 18 yrs child need to apply on SET(F) or FLR?

Hi everyone. I am not too sure whether over 18 years old child could apply directly on SET(F) form if applying by post once both the parents get ILR or should he get FLR first, and then SET(F). Presently he is on PBS dependant visa. Parents are on HSMP pre-nov and would be eligible for ILR in Dec. A...

Re: employment terminated/redundancy 2 months before ILR

If you have to achieve points to qualify for ILR under T1G then you should show the required income in the last year of your ILR. As far as i know, one has to show salary in a continuous 12 month period starting at any time in last 15 months. So OP should be ok, however please wait for someone to c...
