If you were letting "silently", then unfortunately it'd be hard for you to get anything back from your former landlord. What does letting "siletnlty" means? I was living there leaglly with proper tenancy agreement and paying rent on time and kept property in good condition. It means: no proper cont...

Tell him you are moving back. He has no notice and the contract is not terminated so he would need to use court to move you out. Even if you do not pay, landlord cannot force you out without court sentence. Tell him you will come with housing officer from the council and police to gain access to you...

do not say: "unemployed" as it means you are registered as such in Jobcentre and claiming benefits which you may not be entitled to instead of say: "not employed" Why? I remember some body on the forum said that for citizenship ceremoney you have to go to same council thoguh which you applied using NCS. Is this right? No. You are expected to attend ceremony in your local council register office. However, you may opt to use another council - you have to specify wh...

I'd go and check councils websites and compare the prices as you may find some are a lot cheaper than the others (for family 2+2 Southwark was the cheapest a few weeks ago). I wouldn't care about time efficciency and so on as you can't compare individual cases and whether your application is process...

If your kids were born outside UK, it is in your best interest to supply as much relevant information as you can as you are applying for registration under discretion rule (positive outcome is not guaranteed). Therefore NCS ask you for letters from schools which confirm residency and intentions. And...

Hi everyone, I have the following queries: 1. Do you think it would jeopardise the application for British Citizenship if the applicant is unemployed? NO, unless you are applying on basis of exercising Treaty Rights as EU citizen but then it depends on your past and current situation 2. In the AN f...

Checkmyfile is waste of your money.
They are not CRA neither official CCJ register.
Spend £2 to get proper statutory credit report from Experian or Equifax (or sign-up and use their 30 days free access).
Or use TrustOnline where for £8 you can access the OFFICIAL court judgment registers.

You may apply for registration of UK-born-child as a British citizen at any time, as he is entitled to be registered under section 1(3) of BNA 1981. For you born-abroad-child, whose registration as British citizen under section 3(1) of BNA 1981 will be subject to discretion, I would suggest that yo...
