What will happen if you do not provide receipts of these expenses?
Or, you provide receipts for part of the 1400 GBP? What will happen to the rest of the amount?

No worries, I received the Acknowledgement letter after 3 weeks and still waiting for the BRP letter (applied on 7th Jan).

timelines for BRP Invitation letter for T1 (in-country)

Guys,
Please help to understand the timelines for getting BRP letters for Tier1 switching /extension for in-country applications done after 14th Dec 2010.
Please let us know when you guys received the BRP letter after applying for Visa by post.

You can formally complain to Home Office if your application is more than 14 weeks old. Check the UKBA website for contact details for the same.

There is no way to apply for T1 G from outside UK. That route has been closed since 23rd Dec.
I guess you applied in-country (within UK). Not sure if new documents allowed in appeal. Otherwise, you can apply again with right documents.
