Re: EU1 Application - Documents returned but no stamp4

Oh dear! Maybe try again and just make sure that they know the garda office hasn't received the letter. When you're on the phone with them ask if the garda office really need to wait for a letter from INIS, or if your letter would be enough. Ask them if they are able to call the garda office. This ...

Since early September 2013 They did have 5 years residence cards - this may have made a difference my wife had a 5 year residency card from France but they did not seem to take it in to consideration. it seems the German residency cards are special though...

Re: EU1 Application - Documents returned but no stamp4

Qualifying Quantifying period - what the hell is that?[/quote]
abuse of power, HO didn't set minimum qualifying period making it easy for them to refuse application by saying this.
I am hoping we will get positive decision in OS.

Re: Amendment to EEA Regulation from 1/01/2014 Singh diluted

I dont think there is a section on eea2 form to declare this. I dont mind declaring it but ECO can argue that i travelled to UK when i was exercising treaty rights in Ireland the same way he objected to this other person who's refusal letter was posted.

Re: Amendment to EEA Regulation from 1/01/2014 Singh diluted

Is it possible for HO to check if an EU national is travelling between UK and other EU state. I travel to UK every month for one weekend. At border control i usually show them my passport. No one scans my passport.

Re: EU dependent parent and pension/medical

Me and my mum will be travelling to UK every fortnight for weekends, hopefully this will be ok in terms of her Irish citizenship.
She got UK visitors visa valid for another 4 years. I presume its ok for her to travel on her visitor visa rather than getting EEA Family permit?
Thanks

Brigid - Thanks a lot for your detailed answers, much appreciated. Permanent Residence - Because Residence Card is valid for 5 years they can say she is not permanent resident. Re: Absence period allowed for EU citizen

Is it possible for INIS to know how long EU citizen is away from Ireland? They never scanned my passport on Dublin airport when I travel from UK. Also i think there is no immigration control on CTA (Motorway and Dublin port). Is it possible for INIS to match Ferry/Airline records with EU citizen pas...

UKBA have released the new EEA2 form but I can't see any changes to SECTION 5 – SURINDER SINGH CASES. Also no changes to documents section of the form. I can't find new guidance as well.

Re: Got INIS letter today for temp stamp 4!

Hi all I wanted to know if my husband can 'join' me in the UK if I left early? When we applied for the UK permit it was to travel together. Would it cause a problem boarding a plane to the UK? What does the family permit says? if it says "Accompany EU Spouse" then you better travel together. Just k...

Re: help: EU nationals in Ireland and dependent non-EU paren

There seems to be serious confusion about EU TREATY RIGHTS. It applies to the EU Citizens (i) spouse (ii) partner (iii) children of both sides who are under 18 It doesn't apply to THE PARENTS of the the non eu or eu citizen. If the parents what to reside as dependents you must apply for a dependent...
