Re: help: EU nationals in Ireland and dependent non-EU paren

There seems to be serious confusion about EU TREATY RIGHTS. It applies to the EU Citizens (i) spouse (ii) partner (iii) children of both sides who are under 18 It doesn't apply to THE PARENTS of the the non eu or eu citizen. If the parents what to reside as dependents you must apply for a dependent...

Thank you for your prompt reply jinkazama_11. My concern is that my parents are not living with me(they are in Pakistan) so is this something that can cause problems in getting them invited to UK directly? I have been following your other thread on similar topic. That has been a great help and I ho...

I have my other sibling living in UK(British national) and also participating in financial help. Both of my ...

My question is If my mother gets residence card in Ireland how easy it would be for us to move to another EU country. I am thinking to move to Switzerland/Germany/Scandinavian countries. Do I have to prove again in that member state that she is dependent on me. It seems using SS will be much harder,...

Do people think that bank accounts may be included in the test for permanent removal to another member state? Surely that would be too much! People who have long term bonds/ISAs etc would be at a great disadvantage! This is beginning to sound crazy...I'm not even sure that I want to go back to a co...

I will advise people not to get too worried though. The 1972 act has precedence over the EEA Regulations. It permits the court to ignore the EEA regulations and implement the directive, where the regulations conflict with the caselaw and the directive. So the court will be bound by law to ignore th...

Case of O . Case of S . I think all potential Surinder Singh people, who will be applying for an EEA family permit or Residence Card after 01/01/2014, are best advised to seek legal advice on their position. I envisage a significant number of Refusal in the New year under this category. General adv...

for the EU1 application you have to provide

PTRB
joint utility bills
Letter from landlord/tenancy agreement

check with them, if they can provide then its ok for EU1 application.
