You have to be practical in proving your income, just showing your rental income does not doo it at all. You actually need to show proof od what you are paying taxes on i.e. the amount HMRC sees you are getting as income. This is because if you are self employed you need to show a list of documents ...

I think you should read the thread you highlighted above, I am sure you will get your answer.

From the thread you highlighted above, it is clear that your wife can travel back to the UK as the current VISA they hold is still valid. If you wife has already completed 2 years probationary period in the UK, you should be able to apply for ILR for her. Otherwise you will possibly need to get FLR ...

I am sorry to hear about your refusal. It seems like some of the ECO are getting a habbit of doing such refusals as there is no requirement currently for an SU07 form to be signed. However it can be requested by the ECO under some special circumstances and the ECO will have to personally request for...

First of all, you have already applied so stop stressing. Now looking at the probabilities , it is highly inlikely that a case will be refused only on a missing latest VAT return. Although it is mentioned in the requirement of the documents I would not worry about it that much if you have provided m...

You applied under Category B? So you were classed as self employed or running your own company. As far as I know there is no rule for the self employed to have monthly salary above the £1,550 threshold throughout last 12 months. This is the sole reason the UKBA ask for 12 months of records to calcul...
