Re: admission to uk with residence card

It depends on your history as well. From personal experience they once did even while returning with spouse. It nothing you should worry about though.

Scottish Independence: Meaning

Just thinking if anyone has actually thought of what consequences may arise for both EEA and Non EEA family member seeking PR should Scotland vote yes for independence. Considering that Scotland may have to apply to rejoin the EU as an independent country. The scenario are as follows: EEA or Non EEA...

Re: Travel with Residence Card - Success Stories

Surely not end of the world. But weldone for standing up and educating them. Nothing will change if we keep quite when things like this happens. The more people that complain the more the likely they'll get the message. Better still, for future reference politely tell them they may not stamp your pa...

Re: damage - not known

By writing a letter to TLS, you probably waived any right to fee refund. That was most likely the point of the letter. You say it was not damaged on submission, in which case how did it get damaged? They said its damaged, tomorrow i am gonna visit TLS and collect the passport in person. When i logg...

If you got a free visa under the terms of directive 2004/38/ec, then you are supposed to be accompanying or joining your wife. If not, you may need a visa in your own right - pay the fee and submit the required evidence. I don't agree as I once applied for a Schengen visa in Austria embassy last su...

May be it's time you'd threaten to sue them. First do you keep copy of your application? In other to make reference or show to your MP and did you send all the required documents to ukba.

So you got to keep at your MP 3-4week for update. And make sure your MP is aware of the 6 months regulation. They said it's 9 months for Romanians and Bulgarians, It's over a year now like you said. So make sure MP is fully aware and keep pushing they're there to serve yours and others people's inte...

Your EU spouse should make a complaints to the ukba. Must also quote the relevant 6 month rule in directive 2004/38/ec. Also get your MP involve. If your relationship is genuine which I do not doubt you shouldn't have waited this long to seek advice. I started getting my mp involved from 2 week afte...

I believe I noted this was a 'scenario' not necessarily mean event has occurred. Thanks for this responses guys, I am in UK now, just planning ahead in the event such event occurs. To have to apply for a family permit when already had been previously issued a RC card is absurd in my opinion. There should be a quick and stressless provision to let a non-eea family member be able ...
