Thanks ca.funke I had read but threads several time before today. However, I don't think it helps in my situation as I do not intend travelling to Austria with my spouse. Hi guys, Can you please tell me if not knowing places you intend to visit in Vienna is enough to refuse an non eea family visa. I flopped on my trip to the Austrian embassy. ca.funke

Well done, I guessed you have single handedly succeeded in convincing the Lithuanian embassy in London to change their stand in regards eea family member free movement right.

People like you and many other on the forum are very much needed in solvit, eu commission etc.

Well done

Re: Schengen Visa for EEA family

Hi bluecole2, how do you know that they have appointments (only) in 18 days? Phone, their website...? This is clearly illegal, appointments have to be available for EVERYONE within 2 weeks (=14 days), and for EEA-family members the 2 weeks have to be "accelerated", so if 18 days is correct, it´s si...

Have you considered getting help from child support agency?

Perhaps that could at least bring about finding him.

I agree with you Directive 2004/38/EC, although that's in comparison to embassy staffs whom are necessarily not an IO. If you and I know this regulations, perhaps because of our interest and neither of us is an IO, why shouldn't all IO know this? I mean it's elementary. Can you imagine a teacher alw...

As far as I'm concerned most of the border guards lack knowledge when it comes to eea regulations, especially for eea family member. Perhaps showing them this little piece of info(s) will help with re-educating them. Providing border guards with a small leaflet that states eea rc/pr 'do(s) and 'don'...

YOU MAY NOT STAMP MY PASSPORT EITHER AT THE POINT OF ENTRY OR EXIT!!! And if they choose to do so without consulting their manager or supervisor then they perhap...
