Re: Minimum threshold for earnings as a qualified person

There is no minimum threshold for worker as long as the work is an effective and genuine activity. Usually 24 hours/£149 per week is considered as effective and genuine activity by the UK benefits authority.

Re: PR (EEA4) do I need a visa to travel to EU countries?

By virtue of article 20 EU directive 38/2004, you can travel although some airline staff may deny to let boarding. See few examples as its confirmation: http://www.mfa.gov.lv/en/london/entry-into-latvia/documents-required-for-a-visa-applications-of-a-family-member-of-eu-eea-national http://www.mzv.c...

Re: EEA2 Procedure advice needed

If you are a non-visa national to UK then better you apply eea2 RC once you return. And if you are a visa national then if you travel outside of England and if your current EEA family permit is expiring then more likely you will need another EEA family permit before entering. Remember, eea2 RC is a ...

Re: Application refused due to lack of CSI

I don't think it will give you any benefit for giving the reference of your friends. But usually any health insurance policy except cash benefits/NHS top ups from regardless of country/insurance provider must be acceptable as long as it provides coverage in majority of circumstances. Re: Application refused due to lack of CSI

If the polish state insurance is not an EHIC health card (the one usually an EU country issue to its nationals but in uk it is only valid if the stay is temporary) then it must cover you in UK in majority of health related circumstances throughout the period when you were living as a student. In suc...

Re: EEA2 Procedure advice needed

EEA2 application procedure is fairly easy and straightforward as long as the EU national is exercising its treaty rights. Usually an application form itself a guide but since the new form has been introduced there is a lot confusion as what needs and what doesn't need. Refer to following thread: htt...

EHIC card may fulfill the requirement if the stay is temporary, usually in case of EU students.

Re: Becoming "self-suffcient" status in UK

An EU national has to exercise its treaty rights after three months since being newly arrived and self sufficiency is one of such mode of exercising treaty rights. I believe her pension income should make her self sufficient and more preferably to demonstrate that such income can regularly be transf...

An EU national is not required to exercise its treaty rights during its 1st three months since arriving. Therefore, now you can reduce the gap of 9 months to 6 months and it will be more wiseable to wait until further 6 months.

As long as the work is a genuine & effective activity then it should be fine. Although there is no guideline that how many hours an EU national worker should work but under UK benefits system for EU national the working hours should be 24 hours per week or £150.
