Re: Jobseeker but not registered + PT work

An EU national is not required to exercise its treaty rights during its 1st three months since arriving. Therefore, now you can reduce the gap of 9 months to 6 months and it will be more wiseable to wait until further 6 months.

If you are a Brazilian national then be informed that Brazil is visa free country for UK. Therefore, apart of being the family member of EU national, you have additional entitlement to freely enter UK with Brazilian passport.

Re: Residence card (EEA National working part-time)

As long as the work is a genuine & effective activity then it should be fine. Although there is no guideline that how many hours an EU national worker should work but under UK benefits system for EU national the working hours should be 24 hours per week or £150.

Only your PR certificate/card will be sufficient and there will be no need of attaching any documents of treaty rights.

You probably have not applied earlier the (optional) EEA4 - PR which cost you only £65 and must have been very beneficial for your costly naturalizations application.

Re: LPR (EEA3/4) and comprehensive sickness insurance

Yes without CSI if the EU national is self sufficient/student then the PR application won't succeed. However, if the EU national start working at least 24 hours per week or self employment then there won't be any CSI needed. And if you wish may get another 5 years residence permit (EEA2) with the mo...

Re: LPR (EEA3/4) and comprehensive sickness insurance

NHS cannot substitute CSI which is a mandatory requirement for EU national self sufficients and students along with their whole family. The reason you were granted EEA1 & EEA2 when your CSI policy was in its first month because for EEA1 & EEA2 applications the treaty rights should be at least active...

Re: LPR (EEA3/4) and comprehensive sickness insurance

First of all you should not mix up the tier 4 into EU route because it is completely different and regulates under UK immigration rule. But as far as EU national students are concerned they need to covered by CSI and from June 2015 the whole family must have CSI plan. However, if the EU national stu...

Re: Apply for EEA4 when seperated from EEA husband

If your EU national partner has been exercising his treaty rights for the last 5 years and is ready to help you then your application will not be refused because an informal separation does not cease the relationship. As a precaution only send the exact and relevant documents as stated on eea4 form ...

Had you applied your registration certificate (EEA1) at that time or before June 2011?? Or were you dependent on any of your EU family member who was exercising its treaty rights during that period? No I wasn't dependent and I only applied for/been issued with a PR last year december. If you alread...

Re: Can I apply for PR after 2 years EEA-RC + 3 years of Tie

NO. Because tier 2 relates to Uk pbs system but EEA RC relates to EU directive and the time spent on each route is not transferable into other one. Moreover, both routes leads to settlement (PR/ILR) after 5 years as long as the relevant requirements have been fulfilled.

Re: EEA (FM) residence card - proof of living together

One thing you need to keep in mind that the current version of EEA (FM) previously called as EEA2 is tremendously tricky with the inclusion of numerous irrelevant sections/questions. Since the same form is to be used by married and unmarried partners of EU national, therefore it is causing huge conf...

Re: EEA (FM) residence card - proof of living together

Thank you for your answer sheraz7. Secondly anything including treaty rights ...

Normally a single rapid phone call from caseworker. However, it is always wiser to give very accurate employer contact details and best is to inform the employer in advance regarding such enquiry.

Re: Qualified Person on 18 Hours Part Time Employed

It will all depend on whether the employment is an effective and genuine activity as well as be verifiable on caseworker enquiry. In now a days according to UK benefits system an employment involving 24 hours/£150 per week is considered effective & genuine.

Re: marriage with EU national and Tier 2 visa

It entirely depends on your budget and your desire as how faster you want ILR/PR. Since applying EEA2 RC is optional for a married partner of a qualified EU national, therefore, you can continue with your tier 2 visa even after being married with EU national. In both cases you will have to complete ...

Re: (PR) As Family member DO I even quaify ?? I need ugrent

If an EU national has got UK permanent residence then his/her non-eu national is only required to live together for about 5 years. Therefore, even the EU national does not loose its PR with the absence of 3-6 month (except 2+ years) but if such absences are very frequent/multiple then the caseworker...
