Re: Reminder CoS Allocation Expiry

You are fine, no need to apply again. The expiry is for any new COS that the sponsor may have in their account which will expire in Mar-2018.

It's fine to show the amount from two separate accounts as long as the total is more than what's required.

However we were shocked to see again another refusal with a ban because there wa...

Re: Help Required: UK Visa Refusal

1. What spouse related question are you talking about? Not sure if the application form is so complicated that you misunderstand the question such that it'll lead to rejection. 2. Does your company not verify the application data before submission? 3. Would be good to mention the exact wordings ment...

Re: Tier 2 Maitenance Funds Question

Personally, I think its unlikely they will stamp the print out and post it. You can get it stamped if you visit the bank personally (which I guess is not possible in your case). In my opinion, online statements should suffice as long as they show your name, address and bank account numbers. Maybe so...

Re: Regarding Spouse name change on passport when in UK and not on BRP

1. As long as she carries her old passport as well which has her previous name, I think it should be fine. There is no mandatory requirement to change the name in the BRP. 2. Yes, she can renew her visa while in India. You will need to get it extended in UK first before she could apply from India. 3...

Re: Indian baby UK visa

The baby does not need a visa to leave UK. Hence, you can travel back to India just with the baby's passport. You can apply for the baby's visa in India since he/she cannot come back without a valid visa. I don't see any drawback except for the processing time. The time will depend on when you get t...

FPN disclosure does not lead to rejection. A few of my friends have got their visas approved with FPN declared. It's about disclosing as much information as possible.

Re: Tier 2 - Declaring FPN

Always better to disclose rather than not. Some caseworkers may see it as deception. It should not affect your application outcome since I've seen many visa applications approved with FPNs.

Re: Penalty Fare Notice declaration

There is no such link which talks specifically about this. However, my personal view, it does no harm to mention it in the application. I have done it before and the application went on fine. I feel such minor FPNs are not worth taking the risk. Just dont give them a reason to reject your application.

Re: Does a baby born to parents on Tier 2 (General) visa require a visa??

Hi, I am on a Tier 2 (General) visa and expecting a baby in Dec 2017. I will be applying for my ILR in Jul 2018. I do not plan to travel out of UK prior to getting my ILR. Q1: Do I need to apply for a Tier 2 dependent visa for my baby before I apply for ILR? If you do not intend to travel outside U...

Provided your initial Tier 2 visa was granted before 6th Apr 2017 (which I think is the case), you are exempt of ISC while extension. Not sure on your other query about language requirement. My understanding is that you need not prove it since you have already done it in the initial visa application...

She doesn't need a TB certificate if she was born here and not traveled outside. TB test is required only if the applicant has traveled to specific countries.

Re: Tier 2 ICT

It will depend on the work start date mentioned in the COS (by your prospective employer while applying for COS). If it's after 2 months, then yes you can go back to your home country after your notice period. However, do note that you need to use the COS within 3 months after its approved & assigned.

If you dont plan to travel outside UK until Apr 2018, then there is no need to apply for a dependent visa. It's not mandatory if the child is born in UK.
