My wafe gave B1 level exam from trinity college without her passport. I phoned the college and informed them that my passport is with HO. They asked for the acknowledgment letter that i received from the HO. I scanned the letter and emailed them.

Then write back to them and tell them you've applied within 28 days of a decision with a copy of the proof of postage. Ask them to reconsider their decision. Are you saying you applied after 28 days from the date of refusal of an in time application? Yes. When they refused initial application they sent two letters with that.
