Thank you ever so much for sharing such good insights into this challenging issue faced by many applicants like myself. Re: ILR Application Dilemma - PEO or Post ?

Employment history and any P60s help CW to understand employment period for the 5 year period and a good way of checking previous Tier1 applications for implications of PAYE or SE tax/NI issues. Not mandatory but good have!, Citizenship naturalisation forms asks for this, so this will come in handy...

For helping out who don't know things which we did not know. 1.My husband was dependant on me there we did not know...

Re: ILR Refused for late ammendments

@PDK2016 I know it is applicant responsibility to make sure all return accurately submitted but still I think accountant letter explaining this will add something. As nothing more to lose, you give try then with fresh app as you are not going backward from where you are now. Hi Abc499, how would ac...

Re: Appeal

How do you vary app??

Will you recall your current app and re-apply for tier 2?

That must cost a lot... then you need to do ILR again!

Wish all is well

Re: URGENT! PSC visa on hold - TIER 1 G to ILR - tax discrep

Refusal is inevitable in this application. I would suggest to post 2nd application within 14 days if your visa has expired. You will need to provide credible explanation in your 2nd application with documentary evidence that will demonstrate that it was an error between income declared to HO and HM...

Re: URGENT! PSC visa on hold - TIER 1 G to ILR - tax discrep

I'm afraid to say that this current application would be rejected by any means and it completely depends on the case worker when you apply for the next time, after you have amended your tax. There are few cases where people got rejected on PSC and then amended the tax and reapplied by post and got ...

Re: URGENT! PSC visa on hold - TIER 1 G to ILR - tax discrep

Self assessment is a personal issue, an accountant not informing you is not the accountants fault. I'd say for £150/200 pa you're getting one seriously crap accountant, mine costs £1500 pa and he tells me everything, leaves no doubt as to my obligations, and checks I'm checking him since ultimately...

'It doesn't matter whom you go with. Is it possible to request a letter from your previous accountant stating, " That it's totally his fault and you never had any intention to deceive the UKVI". Re: URGENT! PSC visa on hold - TIER 1 G to ILR - tax discrep

PEO/PSC is inappropriate for complex cases such as yours. It is a waste of money paying for same day service in such cases. The outcome will now hinge on whether deception is detected in your case. This will have implications for any 10 year LR application you may make as well as for your current a...

Re: URGENT! PSC visa on hold - TIER 1 G to ILR - tax discrep

Tax returns are only a summary of your tax affairs, earned, etc, which generated either no action of or a tax refund or demand. As you now know, anyone (generally) with non standard tax affairs has to fill one in, company directors (usually) do. That's normally fine, but are you saying you owe tax ...

Sorry to bring up this heated topic...

Any idea / previous case recently about that if we clear up tax issues with HMRC, what's the possible outcome with our visa application?

Thanks so much for any thoughts!

From what I understand is: 1. The decision was not in accordance with the law, as you were given no removal directions when you were refused and therefore did not have the option of 395(C), which allows HO to look at factors outside of PBS to determine if you should be removed. Your appeal was dism...
