I think what you can say that you had a personal loan but its settled now...in this way... any way you know beter about yourself that any credit report...anyhow they are 2-3 months old at any point of the time...these reports never give real time info... so nothing to worry...you will...

I would suggest - you tell them you had a loan and its now fully settled. As I was asked about my loans and old credit cards...
