Perhaps ask you local TD. They can also contact the Department and enquire as to when the next ceremony will occur or a timeline for any virtual ceremony.

Timeline posts - queries

Folks, I think your moderator needs to stop deleting posts that relate to erroneous timelines. Deleting a comment with 'please respect that this is a timeline only topic and do not ask questions here, they will be removed' is not helpful when the timeline information is incorrect. I understand the m...

CR001 locking thread

Folks I just posted a new thread relating to parliamentary question - virtual ceremonies on the Ireland forum. Your moderator swiftly locked it saying to include any conversation in a different thread which is not the same conversation! I think it should be unlocked so people can talk about virtual ...

Re: Citizenship ceremonies on 3rd July 2020

Hopefully a rough timeframe is given at some stage when the the platform has been tested successfully and they can hopefully roll it out for virtual ceremonies. The parliamentary responses are very informative where their website is lacking.

Hi all,

My friend is UK resident and has been for a number of years (Republic of Ireland citizen). He has recently married his US girlfriend. They plan to reside in the UK - what are the best visa options for his wife (EU treaty rights?)

Thank you

Hi all,

My friend is UK resident and has been for a number of years (Republic of Ireland citizen). He has recently married his US girlfriend. They plan to reside in the UK - what are the best visa options/route for his wife (are EU treaty rights still applicable?)

Thank you

Re: Extension requested for FOI

Interesting that they need more time. They are clearly short staffed if they can't deal with the application volumes at hand. Have you written to your TD to ask a Ministerial Question. https://www.whoismytd.com/

INIS registration - duration

Hi

Anyone know if the registration duration for GNIB / INIS registration has changed. I understand it's ordinarily one year but for spouses of Irish citizens it's renewed for two years?
