Re: Tier 1 PBS Dependent extension -payslips

You can apply on or after 1st October, no problems. You being unemployed is not a problem as the only requirement is sufficient maintenance funds for 3 months prior to application.

Your payslips are not required. Latest 3 months bank statements showing enough maintenance funds is required.

If you have council tax bills for the last 2 years with both your names, that is more than enough.

Re: Tier-1 Dependent extenstion

The set of documents in your original post look good.

Worth adding documentation (bank stmts, council tax, gas & energy bills) in your name too, to prove that the relationship and marriage is still existent. I don't believe this is mandatory, but worth including.

Re: Job Interviews getting difficult

Hi, The industry is getting competitive and recruiters and companies want to ensure they get the right candidates. There is a cost involved to the company, agency, time spent, recruiting a candidate. If they have taken the pains to bring you in for a face to face, it is highly unlikely they would do...

Re: ILR for dependent

Sorry got confused by original post which stated, My wife is currently on tier 2 dependent until March 2017 as me. I missed the update in the later post, I will complete my five year eligibility in Feb 2017. My wife will complete 5 years as PBS tier 2 dependent in September 2017. Yes no extension re...

Re: got ILR - what's next?

Read Ohara's response again. It is all explained clearly. So to reiterate. If you use NCS (Nationality Checking Service - which is a way to submit your naturalization application), then they return your originals and you are free to travel outside the UK. However you need to keep in mind, you need t...

Good site, always advisable thought to lurk a bit before asking what might be considered a daft question! Or they start piss-taking!
No worries, can expect that of any good 'no-nonsense' forum :-)
Cheers.

Car advise

Hi - I am sure there are plenty of car enthusiasts in the forum and hopefully they can help. I am researching used car buying options etc and would like to know if there are any good online discussion forums that perhaps someone here can recommend ? I tried honestjohn.co.uk and am also getting some ...

Children being told they need to go home, people in hijab being told we are going to send you is Isis. Situation is bad. Re: Can we user BRP card after receiving registration Certif

Unfortunately, this isn't as black and white as that. It is required by one to destroy the BRP card into 2 or 4 pieces and then return it to the Home Office within 5 days of receiving the citizenship certificate, failing which a £1000 fine could be incurred. See this FAQ, http://www.immigrationboard...

Congrats Omnishanti ! Unfortunate that people like you have to be put through this rigmarole because of the people who have abused the system!

Glad to hear that AR turned it around for you and that there is still hope for genuine applicants!

Really sorry to hear about your situation. Does seem unfair and unjust at this point. Since you have mentioned it was only for a couple of weeks, one would hope this would not be treated as a serious matter.

It would be a good idea to seek professional advise.

Re: IT Outage and same day refund - 03 May 2016

Interesting! Appreciate that they have now decided to refund the premium fee if a decision was not made on the same day. This IT issue is not new in Croydon PEO/PSC. This happened to me and everyone else that applied on the same day as me in year 2012, and there was no refund or promise of refunds a...

Re: Settling via Tier 1 General - Salary score - Rule Chang

No you have to earn same salary and secure same points on which your 1st Tier 1 G application approved. Incorrect advise. I know this thread is quite old and from 2014, but updating here just for the record. The points for earnings are awarded based on the relevant salary table depending on the 1s ...

Re: Tier 1 General to ILR - Earned lesser salary in 4th year

Yes, am afraid so. Not satisfying the earnings criteria are grounds for refusal. Are you absolutely sure you need £35 K for satisfying the salary criteria ? What is the date of your 1st successful T1G application ? If you were part of the old rules table (prior to 6th April 2010), then check the ear...

Fascinating indeed! So when are you arriving in Britain ? :-) I suppose you are also aware that you have 3 months to renounce your Indian citizenship and then apply for your OCI.

Re: MN1 over six months and no decision received

Sorry to hear about all the confusion and hope the HO are able to issue a new one soon! In December 2015 I updated my daughter address online with a minor change. Where did you make this change? AFAIK, the MN1 is a physical form that you either post or submit at an NCS office. Did not realise you co...
