Re: children travel after parents ILR

Thanks moderator. Actually my children have to go backhome for few weeks due to some family reasons. My only worry is that would they be allowed back to uk? Their current dependent visa expires in april 2012. Check with UKBA staff. Technically their dependant visa may be "invalid" as your visa has ...

Re: ILR Success in July 2011 at Solihull

Was granted ILR recently. I had booked my appointment at Solihull, Birmingham. The staff there are very friendly and helpful. I would advise everyone to go to Solihull itself after my experience. First let me explain my case: 1. I have been working for the same employer ever since I first came to t...

Entry and Exit stamps on passport relevance for SET(O)

When putting down the list of absences in the SET(O) form, while putting in the ‘From’ and ‘To’ dates, I am assuming it should tie in with the entry and exit stamps on the passport. While checking through my passport if all the entry and exit stamps are in order, I have noticed that there ar...

Evidence for absences (50 days only)

I will be applying for ILR in a few months time, on the basis of my Tier 1 general migrant status. My query is pertaining to the list of absences that need to be listed down in section 6 of the SET(O) form. I have only about a total of 50 days away from UK in the last 5 years (not more than 18 days ...

I think you are worrying for nothing. You have sufficient proof really and many on this forum have said that officers only ask for 2 or 3 documents as proof. Further, as she has been your dependant for all applications its even more clear and likelihood is to provide one document for each year. As ...

Query on Cohabitation

Query on Cohabitation I will be applying for ILR in a few months along with my wife, with my current status as Tier-1 General Migrant. Is it necessary to provide cohabitation proof for the last 2 years out of the 5 year period, or this could be any 2 year period within the 5 year span? I ask this qu...

Are you saying that the SAR will indicate the date on which application for my 3rd WP was received by the Home Office? Should I be writing an explicit letter to the UKBA mentioning this specific expectation?, or is it going to cover my immigration history at a general level and will cover this info...

As long as your company applied in time, its ok. Ask your company if they can provide proof of sending application before WP expiry date. Alternatively you can ask for SAR file from UKBA, which should show all your applications. Thank you. Are you saying that the SAR will indicate the date on which...
