For Praveena1. Leaving aside the UKBA requirements, you may want to consult this section of the BusinessLink website for your insurance responsibilities: http://www.businesslink.gov.uk/bdotg/action/layer?r.i=1074301641&r.l1=1073858790&r.l2=1074429401&r.l3=1074299774&r.s=m&r.t=RESOURCES&topicId=10742...

I have single Bank Statement(Perosnal Bank Stament) showing my earning from Salary and Self employed. Would it be a problem when applying for extension. No (assuming you are a sole trader not a one man company) Is it important to have Business Account when working part time or not regular self empl...

 !! Unfortunately you are right, there are people about who will look to take advantage of every aspect of business so invoice abuse is not unheard of. However in terms of cross-checking and mitigating the risk of improper invoicing, UKBA do contact some customers to ensure the propriety of the...

Just to echo raxs1983 on the third point ..... it's a scaremongering rumour that is total rubbish and is of no use to anyone!

Again as raxs1983 says, applications are refused if criteria are not met rather than on a quota basis.

Please ignore it.

If your friend is self employed then she should issue invoices. The invoice payment should then (usually) match to the invoice. These links to the government's BusinessLink website will provide more information for your friend: http://www.businesslink.gov.uk/bdotg/action/layer?topicId=1073965654 and...

I have a day job that I get paid for and also take weekends off tehminamazher so I tend to only give free information away on my terms! Regarding your application, I would have thought that the main concern of UKBA is that you are able to back up what earnings you claim. So if you are not going to r...

Firstly take the UKBA consideration out of the equation and get your tax administration up to date. Get the 2010-11 tax return filed ASAP. As you say, HMRC will have the power to add £10 per day from 1st May. You can try to reduce your payments on account by giving HMRC the reasons why. However do b...

Duty would be payable on the full amount.

Is for a singular item or a number of items.

Download "Travelling to the UK Notice 1" which is at the bottom of this HMRC page http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/customs/arriving ... gnoneu.htm - see page 9.

To be honest there shouldn't be a problem with re-printing a set of payslips.

It's highly, highly, highly unlikely to be an issue anyway! - I'm sure that stapling or punching through a document happens quite often.

If you are a sole trader and above the VAT registratio...

AMAPs are not an income item - you are being reimbursed for (approved) business mileage carried out in your own (private) vehicle.

If tax is due on your overseas income then you have a legal duty to inform HMRC of said income and then pay the relevant tax on it.

This is completely separate from any UKBA visa application.

You should call HMRC to go through everything - I'm not entirely sure of your respective employment & residency situations here so it's best to just consult them.
