PBS Dependant Application Form Query

Hello, I'm filling up the dependant form and have a few queries. Section K7; What is the reference number of the visa or entry clearance? The dependant obtained a student visa in 2005, got LTR under PSW in 2008 and then obtained a dependant visa in 2010 and is currently under LTR as Tier 1 dependant...

No, as long as you apply within the 28 days deadline, you don't need to give any reason at all. Your application would be refused if you apply after this deadline though unless you have a 'valid' reason. The law regarding this came into effect last year and applies to all Tier 1 General application...

You could technically make an out of time application within 28 days of expiry of your current leave, thereby covering the 12 days shortfall in question. Do I need to give any specific reason for delaying application? or it is allowed by law to apply within 28 days after expiry of visa? No, as long...

Re: LASPO: When is Offenders Act 2012 is being implemented?

The amendments are expected to take effect and the end of the year. For the purpose of ILR and naturalisation they both have their own requirements for 'Good Character' that are outside the scope of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. Therefore, the amendments are unlikely to affect the way in whi...

The new guidelines are confusing. So, does this mean that, for example, if an applicant submits an application before the 28 days out of time deadline and the UKBA takes 3 months to approve the application(meaning technically the applicant has overstayed by around 4 months by then), then would they ...

I would advise you to call the TV Licensing Prosecution Dept. on 03007906034 and let them know about your circumstances and offer to pay for the TV License in full for the year ahead in advance if needed to avoid prosecution. I did the same about a year back and they agreed to cancel the summons. Le...
