Re: tier 4 dependent visa rejected

This forum is not a Quiz Show where contestants are asked to guess and win prizes! How can you expect help if you don't give relevant information about your circumstances. You say you are a T4 migrant at a private college (only that, nothing else mentioned) and as such you can't bring your wife into...

No, absolutely no chance at all, because it seems that your college is not a recognised body and you haven't given any information for us to doubt that fact.

Re: Online application outside UK - Tier 1 General dependant

Yes, the main applicant if the migrant worker rather than the dependant and there are specific questions that refer to him/her. Otherwise, all the questions on the form are directed at the dependant. So, unless it refers to main applicant in the question, the dependent partner must answer giving his...

Re: medical visa?? how to obtain... what visa category???

I am sure it is (serious) which is why I said you really have no chance with this. People who don't qualify for general visit visas (your sister was refused due to lack of social and economic ties) are also not going to qualify for a medical visit visa. There would need to be diplomatic intervention...

Re: medical visa?? how to obtain... what visa category???

Truthfully, you should not waste your time unless there are no qualified professionals in that area of medicine in her country. If she does not qualify for a general visit visa (lack of social and economic ties) she will not qualify for a medical visit visa either, as the general visit conditions ha...

Yes, but the applicant's competence and skills that are needed to be an active participant in the business will be heavily scrutinized. This is not a route that will allow you to circumvent the immigration rules with regard to elderly and dependant relatives who don't qualify as your nuclear family ...

You have not said if you actually want her to settle in the UK rather than merely visit. Is the intention for her to live in the UK as your wife or will you be leaving the UK to live with her in her country? If it's the former, she needs to apply for a spouse settlement visa. You can say the visit v...

Re: Student Visa Valid - Travel allowed?

If you are not returning to continue a course of study you should not be using a student visa to enter. That's what the rules say. However, given that you have a valid visa, it seems absurd to ignore that and apply for a visit visa to serve the same purpose. Your entry depends on how you react to an...

Yes, you can stay longer but the next time you visit the UK you may be challenged and refused entry. So, no problem if returning is not a priority. What caused this event? If your ticket is de ida e volta within one month, did you mention to the official an intention to stay longer than that?

Re: Baby born in UK, can travel on indian passport without v

It's fine to leave the UK but will need a visa to return. An Indian passport holder will not be allowed to board the aircraft if there is no valid visa to enter the UK. The fact that the child was born in the UK will not be considered by the airline check-in staff as that is not within their capacit...

Re: Applying for british passport

I'm only citing the requirements in place when I applied for my kid's British passport. It's a fundamental requirement, in situations where the applicant already has another passport of another nationality, for that passport to be included in the British passport application. I had to send my kid's ...

Re: General Dependent tier 1

It should not make any difference. T1 categories are not contingent on you currently working for a specific sponsor for which you have to provide employment details, so as long as you, yourself, have valid leave in a T1 category and can show the relevant maintenance requirements, they should be able...

The paper application form is the same for all PBS dependents so that would not matter. Are you saying that you applied using the on-line application system and chose Dependent of...

Has your daughter sent her PK passport to you in the UK so that you may include it in the package that you send to the IPS. It's a mandatory requirement to provide any other passports that the applicant holds.

You would only be able to vary your appeal to ILR within 28 days of the end of the 10 year residence period, but the train would have run out of track some 4 months beforehand.

Re: Do we need a general visa or family visa?

The proof of family income is not mandatory; it`s merely asked for in case the UK-based family member is sponsoring (in a financial sense) 'poor relations' who have no independent means of their own. (This is a very common situation for people who actually need to pre-apply for a visit visa because ...

Re: UK Spouse Visa, Illegal resident in USA

UK visa applications may only be submitted in countries where the applicant has a valid immigration status for residence (inc being a national of that state). So, your fiance cannot apply from the USA if her status is not regularized. It is not clear from what you have stated if she is a legal resid...

Re: Apply to remain in the UK with family

It says that I need 6 months visa left on my current visa, No, it does not. It means that your current visa must not have been for a grant of six months or less. Effectively, all visit visas are issued for six months so this rule bars visitors from switching. In your case, as a migrant worker, you ...

Re: Visit visa 6 months statement or less can work?

Six months is a suggestion rather than a mandate. The overall circumstances of the applicant are reviewed and if no evidence of a risk to immigration is found, the visa will be granted. I can't see how a doctor working in an EEA Member state, who provides good evidence of his social and economic tie...
