Re: Accommodation in a shared flat

I completed the FLR(M) in October 2014 that was dated version from July. The new one has been released this month Nov 2014.

When did you submit your application?

I'm wondering if this is new and what else they might have changed in the app. Will do a comparison later.

Re: Accommodation in a shared flat

That's interesting I've never seen that paragraph before, unless its part of the "new" rules? hope someone can clarify that for both of us. Did you include a housing survey or a cover letter with your application? and what did you say on it. My understanding was as long as the house isn't considered...

Re: Wife's spouse visa about to expire, need help!

If she has to apply for an extension on form FLR(M) A1 level English is required. Though you don't have to submit it based on this note. Note 3 - page 43 FLR(M) You may not need to provide evidence of meeting the English language requirement if you have previously done so as part of a successful ap...

Re: FLR(m) visa extension - Return of original docs

Thanks for the reply, do you or anyone else have experience of UKBA returning docs? I'm just concerned as I've read other people not receiving theirs and can't afford to lose marriage cert, birth cert etc I will be providing photocopies too and asking for a return of originals, but wondering if ther...

FLR(m) visa extension - Return of original docs

Hi

Can anyone confirm if UKBA return the original documents bills/certificates when submitting them with an application (FLR M) in this case. Or maybe there is a process/method of requesting this to be done?

I will need these docs when applying for ILR..

Thanks

See also, https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/285139/KoLL_v14.0EXT.pdf Thanks for that, that will be useful when applying for ILR/Citizenship, it doesn't mention anything about language requirements for Visa extension / FLR(M). Hi All, My wifes visa runs out in a month and will need to apply for FLR (M) to extend. There are number of ways you can get a report, but non are officially "UKBA approved" from what I know, but for preference.

1. Councils
2. Estate Agents
3. Do it your self.

All are accepted by UKBA, I personally done option 3 and had no questions.

Thanks.

My understanding is they need 6 individual documents that spans 2 years - so the utility bill doesn't need to span the first year, you can use it to cover the last half/quarter and other docs to fill the gaps If you can get the GP letter, NHS cards or appointment cards to cover the beginning period ...

I have similar questions to ImranH - instead of creating a new topic, I thought if someone can help answer his questions it should help others.

Are accommodation documents required

The date of application is 28 days before expiry / entry to uk

differences in the ways to apply
