Tier 1 (G) extension application form section C6 clearly asks to provide the old passport if it has been used for travel before or if it has any current leave associated with it. I might be missing something here. If you are travelling then you dont have to carry your old passport. If you were sendi...

It will really depend upon how early you are applying before the end of your current leave. If its going to be 8 to 12 weeks early in the case of PEO appointment, then there is a good chance you may get it extended from the date your current leave expires. In postal applications, its already taking ...

Why do you have to send the qualification documents again? Have you guys not read the guidance at all? Does the application form not tell you to tick the box if you have already provided the evidence of the same qualification in your initial grant of tier 1 general?

If you dont think that you will be able to secure enough points for your earnings nearer the time your current leave expires, then its a good idea to go for an early extension as you will have to apply for another extension anyways.

I wanted to claim points for 01 April 2011 - 29 Feb 2012 (11 months). When you provide Bank statement as evidence, do you have to include statements pages from 01 April 2011 to 29 Feb 2012. Becuase my statements starts on 11th of every month. my april salary was paid on 29th April which is shown in...

All seems fine apart from -the maintenance funds that you have not mentioned. If thats included in bank statements then thats fine. Also you dont really need to send your and your wife's original passports.copies should be sufficient.

If you want them to phone the UKBA, then give them the number which is for employers. see the link b...

Not too sure what you exactly mean? Biometric letter usually gives you options to book an appointment at any of the PEOs or a post office. I have not heard of anyone specifically told to go to one office only

28 days before 1/4/2014. Time spent waiting for a decision counts towards the 5 year period as long as a valid application was made before your leave expires. Thanks very much, I did not know this before. Could you please guide me to the source of this information. Not doubting your knowledge but j...
