3 and 1/2 month... Still waiting

YES i think home office likes the passports of 10 years + ILR people that is why they take more time .... Lets hope for the best ... From what I can see, once you go past the 4 months mark, it means you application has been "forgotten/lost" :( Most applications appear to be processed in few weeks. ...

Sweet, please let me know when you find out if your certificate is at Leeds because I am in a similar situation to you. I might as well try calling the Barnet council tomorrow if you find your certificate at Leeds. Although I am not sure, but I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to apply for yo...

Thanks buddy... Although the wait is driving me nuts, I get comfort in that I am not the only one waiting, I know few guys have been waiting since September and August like Malik and Roney. Not to mention the others waiting for much longer like poor BlackHole and RonK. If I don't get mine by the end...

My approval letter date is 5th Feb. It says to contact the Leeds Register Office. I applied through the Leeds council as my local council, York, didn't have the requested appointment dates. I didn't choose Leeds in my application and the person at NCS Leeds also mentioned that my ceremony will be a...

Hi alwaysintrouble, Thanks for this, I applied a week only after emmigrator123. The long wait is driving me bonkers :( In all honesty I don't mind my certificate being sent to Barnet or up north, I don't even mind travelling to Belfast or Aberdeen as long as it arrives soon  It would be intere...

I know what waiting is all about, I applied back in October and I am still waiting to hear from UKBA :( (fees were taken within 5 days)

Here is a similar recent example of a poor guy who waited 4 weeks for his fees to be taken out

Thanks a lot SpokenHands! Yes I saw your other thread, I am sure this will be useful to many lost cases.

Just one final thing please, am I right in assuming that you waited 6 months from the date of your application before you made the complaint? so all in all you waited for 10+ months?

Thanks

Thanks for your adveise SpokenHands! Could you please give us more details about your experience? 1- I take it in both cases, you waited six months first? 2- After the six months, you made a formal complaint to UKBA? 3- They responded with a vague answer and no target date for a decision? 4- You saw...
