Re: Tier 1 entrepreneur ILR interview

I don't understand how they see the different cases . According to timeline guide on this forum different applicants got their applications approved within 2 to 4 months avg .Entreprenuers investing too much money in this country paying taxes creating jobs . shouldn't get treated like this . A snip...

Re: Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa extension 50k route- Need advice

Taking over a year for the response is the shameful norm these days. In your case since you can apply for ILR in August this year I would do nothing except prepare for your ILR (have you done LIUK). The only reason you would want to expedite is if you need to travel. The challenge will be if you are...

Re: Question 6.5 - entered without a stamp

There is no Passport control between Ireland and UK it is CTA (Common Travel Area)

Today for many nationalities there is the option of "registered traveller" where you don't get stamped every time you enter. What I did was just mention it all in covering letter

Here is a creative idea: confer with an employment lawyer not an immigration lawyer

The need to help define if a lady in SMP is employed and/or in job

Re: Tier 1 Entrepreneur - ILR

My first impression is this lawyer does not know what s/he is talking about. I would prefer gurus comment as you have a complicated situation. S/he has not responded to why SMP should be considered a job, rather relating to the rather obvious fact that you can keep people employed throughout, you do...

@seasky - do you read posts before replying or are you just using this forum to vent ? Sad to hear you failed on genuineness How did you come to this conclusion ? The advice given to you of "you don't need to do anything except wait" seems wrong OPs specific question related to whether he/she had t...

Re: One partner switch the visa in the middle of application

Your partner leaving you could have been a strong indication to CW that your business was not genuine. Sad to hear you failed on genuineness, we see that more and more these days and the lesson learned is do not leave things unaddressed that could signal ingenuiness. The advice given to you of "you ...

Re: Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneur - urgent questions!

Money invested by an investor cannot be used to claim points as YOUR INVESTEMENT. It can be either shares or director loan - but both of them must be in your name, not your investors This is not how it worked for me, I did not invest my own money (except a huge amount of sweat equity). Angel and VC...

Re: Tier 1 Enterpreneur Extension Visa Granted

Very well done, that was fast in the current environment. Care to share details of your business, how many employees, how well paid, and any other facts that you think may have led to this fast and positive result. I am trying to ascertain why some cases are 15 months with multiple interviews and so...

Re: Tier 1E 200k Extension Approved in FIVE MONTHS

Well done and congratulations. 5 months is much better than 15 months cases we sadly see more and more (but 5 months would still kill an international business where CEO needs to travel average twice per month) Can you share any reasons why you did so well (especially no interview)? do you have more...

Re: Tier 1 Entrepreneur - ILR

Unfortunately @seasky has a habit of making irrelevant personal opinions without the details of an individual applicant. I don’t think it is done with any bad intentions but just a matter of poor communication. It is best to ignore and not add to your stress levels. But given that you had the emplo...

Re: Tier 1 Entrepreneur - ILR

You have a very curious case and I am glad that the uninsured driving issue was resolved positively. why you accuse people fire their employees? The employees can leave the company by their own wills. Re: urgent 2nd interview call

None of your replies is stick to the point and questions. There is NO race issue here if you think we (British entrepreneurs or other nationalities') are the same and equal. Your initial visa was approved within 2-3 weeks in 2011. which just only proves, it WAS fast. You raised the race issue, I ha...

Re: Extra Documents for Extension

I take a different approach from what the gurus often say to be minimalist. (and the point of forum is sharing ideas) T1e is tough tough these days and genuineness is looked at much more in the past so you want to share the good things you did in your business. The seriousness of your marketing, the...

I cannot see any issue at all with cash only. I assume you are fully legal with a till and offer a receipt to every purchase.

You are losing a lot of business being cash only.
