Re: Applying for settled status after 30/06/2021

I understand that this is a tricky subject (at least I was unable to find a direct answer) but received an unexpected call from the Resolution Centre today. In short, from what I was told, the application for a settlement scheme can be made after 30/06 if the person enters UK on foot of a valid EU s...

Re: Applying for settled status after 31/06/2021

Would someone please share some thoughts? I am unable to find any information on application for settlement after 31/06/2021. I called Resolution centre but was advised to write to them and wait for a response.

Applying for settled status after 31/06/2021

Hi Everyone, It has been a while since I was here last time. I have a question and please direct me if such answers were already provided. In short, my (imperfect) reading of the EU settlement scheme conditions indicates that if (1) EUSS family permit is granted for entry into UK and (2) the person ...

Re: Family Permit for a child

Just to provide an update. Both things worked out well for us. At the outset, our EEA Family Permit came through in under 6 weeks. Well done to Sheffield. We simultaneously applied for our baby-girl to be entered on a Ireland's Foreign Born Register to be recognised as an Irish citizen. While this t...

Re: Family Permit for a child

What are our ways of contacting UKBA/HO/Visa section/Whatever they are called now? If time presses on, what would be the most effective ways of addressing the potential delay threatening our ability to travel, my right to be accompanied by a family member and many more other issues? I presumi you l...

Re: Family Permit for a child

could someone be kind to advise us of the possible steps? In short, how do we contact the actual decision-making people or are we stuck with TLS gimmicks?

Thank you

Family Permit for a child

I am an Irish national, my wife is a Russian national, our daughter - born in Russia in May 2018 and not yet an Irish citizen (via Foreign Born Register entry) is a Russian citizen, for who we applied for Family Permit to travel with us to UK in September, so that I can resume my work as a universit...

Re: EEA Residence Card granted while abroad

Hi I am interested to know the answer to his question as I might find myself in a similar situation soon. Please do share with us here if you find the answer. The other question is if your wife is/was on another type of RC before the EEA RC came and if that is still valid? Thank you! Ok, I got the ...

Biometric card are delivered by DX courier usually, with signed for. You can collect the card showing your ID and signing. Hello Dan Thank you for that, I am hoping to receive this tomorrow. We never got the DX slip and if it wasn't for the forum to alert us and to check with DX on FB, it would bec...

EEA Residence Card granted while abroad

My wife is abroad and we received a letter stating that her EEA Residence Card is granted and will be couriered to us in 10 days. I were then to collect her card, join her and both of us will come back in the summer. I am not sure what problems there may be to collect my wife's card. Can she technic...

Hello, I need some advice and feel that this is t he right place to ask for one. I am a naturalised Irish citizen, currently working in UK. We decided to give a birth in Russia, where my wife is from. The baby is due in late May. We need to get back to UK where I have a job starting from September l...

Re: Residence Card for a spouse of EEA citizen with PR document

Hello a.s.b.o.! Have you submitted your application form? Did you use the latest EEA PR form? Did you fill out all of the pages? Did you submit payslips together with the DCPR? Thank you! Hi Sophie, thank you for your questions, I hope you are well. Yes, I submitted the latest form. I filled the se...

Re: Residence Card for a spouse of EEA citizen with PR document

Yeah, they could really use a proof reader. You SHOULD only have to send in your DCPR for the exact reason you state -- you don't need to continue exercising treaty rights once you have PR. But at least one person on this forum got refused because, even though they sent in their sponsor's DCPR, the...

Re: Residence Card for a spouse of EEA citizen with PR document

So, the million pound question is: if I have a DCPR and send it with the application, and still in employment, do I need to send evidence of employment - i.e. payslips, employer declaration and so on?

This is the question holding us from applying

Re: Residence Card for a spouse of EEA citizen with PR document

It is not fair to be bashing bureaucrats in your new country, but it seems that the forms were written by not the brightest bulbs around. For example, the form is very confusing about whether I need to attach evidence of being a 'qualified person' even after being granted PR and issued with DCPR. Th...

Re: Residence Card for a spouse of EEA citizen with PR document

Strange -- the form EEA(FM) and its guidance notes are definitely worded differently from the form EEA(PR) and its guidance notes. Form EEA(PR) only requires the applicant to once again prove five years of treaty rights if not sending in the DCPR. But EEA(FM)'s tone is that if you have one, you hav...

Re: Residence Card for a spouse of EEA citizen with PR document

Surely, you refer to section 10, since I am Irish, not UK citizen? Then, I take it, that logic you suggested, stands? Well now it's my turn to be confused. On the current EEA(PR) application (Mar 2016), section 9 is for non-British EEA citizens, while section 10 is for British citizens invoking the...

Residence Card for a spouse of EEA citizen with PR document

Hi, I am an Irish citizen, issues with a Document Certifying Permanent Residence. We now need to apply for a Residence Card for my non-EEA wife. I note that I do not need to send any employment details, but I would still like to do that to avoid the confusion. However, my main question is whether I ...

Re: A1 Code: Recent experience

Overall, we were issued with a stamp "admitted under 2006 regulation" and a dated entry stamp. The 2006 regulations were revoked in February! There seems to be a new stamp coming into use with no explicit 6 month limit. That I find difficult to agree on. It explicitly refers to 2006 regulations

I think our recent experience of gaining A1 code for my wife, a Russian citizen, will be of use to fellow members. I am an Irish national, higher education professional, with a full contract on my hands. I also hold a PR. We wanted to apply from Russia but were told it would take in excess of 3 mont...

Difficulties of applying for EEA Family Permit

The embassy itself is also impregnable. I recall from somewhere seeing that EEA applications can enjoy direct acc...
