As suggested by previous posters, if you have any bailiff action pending in you name it will be reflected in your credit report. Worth getting it checked if you have any doubts. If I contacted each council, provided them with the account number and corresponding address even if the bills weren't in ...

Re: ILR Success Solihull - 14 Dec 2012 - Tier 2 (gen)

He asked entry clearance, if that's the exact words then it is visa start date. No rules have changed for 90 days, you are safe. Hi Skumar, Congratulations! When was your entry clearance ? - 4 years 11 months+ ? Did CW asked specifically 4years 11Months? I was delayed 47 days while entering Uk after...

May be some confusion with posting, it happen sometime with new people on board specially when people are very anxious. You should maybe respect the rules on the board, rather than making duplicate posts to get an answer. It's pretty annoying reading the same thing twice (which usually results in me...

Thanks cs95tdg, I too have noticed no change in 90 days rule in continuous residency guidance . What I am wondering is how suceptible it is to legal challenge because someone can have compassionate reason(like medical emergency/ natural disater) for delayed entry. The period between entry clearance ...

In the following categories, absences must be for reasons connected with the applicant’s purpose for being in the UK or for serious or compelling compassionate reasons. Evidence, as specified above, must be prov...

I am also wondering impact of this on delayed entry of more than 90 days in first year. My question is 1) What happens if entry is delayed by more than 90 days but less than 180 days, can this be treated as absence for compelling reason? 2) if delayed entry is not treated as absence, then is it not ...

"out of court disposal that results in a criminal record " . It is important to check with CRB before you apply. It may affect your application if you apply after 1 January. The immigration rules are changing so that any "out of court disposal that results in a criminal record" is general grounds fo...

It is not necessary to travel on the date which you mentioned on your form. The visa is normally valid from the date of grant.

You can vary your Tier 1 application, which could save you additional fee for ILR. Getting your passport back may result in you application being withdrawn.

You submit your details when your circumstances changes, there is no mandatory timescale prescribed by ukba for informing marital status change.

This is really weird, certainly if it was an issue from ukba their must be more cases and they may be aware of the issue, you immediately write to caseworker stating this situation, he may accept your current application back which will not result in you being over stayer.

Look at last paragraph rules are changing from 13th Dec, if you conviction is on criminal records you may have to wait for 2 years but don't get any conclusion now as it will be more clear soon.
