You need to read the comments to get an answer. There will be separate letters for main applicant and dependants. That means, the main applicant's letter will not state anything about the dependant's approval or rejection. The dependant will get a separate letter stating approval / rejection status.

I guess this is more of a legal issue now. I would suggest you get all the relevant information from your accountant and get in touch with an immigration lawyer as early as possible.

The status would change once the application is processed. You can never be sure why there is a delay.

Official Timelines:
"90 per cent of non-settlement applications within 3 weeks, 98 per cent within 6 weeks and 100 per cent within 12 weeksof the application date"

Re: Cant remember the date of application

Hi cs95tdg, i am afraid this is not correct. When applying, the date when you submit the application (either by post/PEO etc) is your date of application not the date your visa is valid from. I did not remember the exact date of my application. I provided an approximate date and got the extension. ...

Why would this be an issue? You applied in time and got the approval.

I would have tried to get the name corrected first and if that is not possible, write a cover letter but that would still be a risk.

Try calling LIUK support on 0800 0154245 and see if they can help.

As you are the sponsor, you'd have to provide a sponsorship letter along with your bank statement. You don't need to include your mothers statement.

Generally what matters is your first name and the last name. Most documentation and even bank statements don't show your middle name. It should still be fine.

so, going for expensive route of 2nd extension is the only alternative to be in the safer side? If you want to save money, the easiest option is postal application. If going via PEO route, ensure all your documents are in place and you could book an appointment 1 week prior to your visa expiry. Per...

1. It would be good to take a print out of the email. Phone message should suffice but why do you want to take chances. 2. When printing the form double sided, you need to ensure that you follow the guidelines to the letter. It doesn't matter if you have to fill the form again. Filling the form 3-4 ...

UKBA doesn't check for loans. What they check is, whether you have sufficent funds for maintenance.
