Reason given was that father was diagnosed with terminal illness and subsequently passed away. Had all original documents. Case worker was friendly, but said they don't have a SEO or grade 7 employee there. She told me they never have one there. This was concerning, because I have read posts on thi...

Main reason for trying to apply ASAP is that my partner is studying. With ILR as well, she will qualify for much reduced tuition fees in September. Also, there were rumours that a rule change may be introduced whereby your dependent must have been resident for 5 years as well (it is currently 2 years)

advised not apply (Solihull PEO) - more than 90 days out

Readers of these boards may have seen my earlier posts re applying for ILR. Only issue I had was in 2007, I was outside of UK for 120 consecutive days. Today, I went to the Solihull PEO office. As others have mentioned, no payment is taken before the interview with the case worker. This is a massive...

Major change in the new SET (O) form as of 29 Feb '12

Has anyone noticed that the new SET (O) form no longer requests details of all trips outside the UK The new form merely asks in Section 9 D.1 "Please confirm whether you have been outside of the UK for any single absence over 3 months or one or more absences which amount to more than 6 month in tota...

thank you Very interesting that the case worker simply asked how many days have you been outside UK. Did you have a back-up plan if the caseworker enquired why you were out for 92 consecutive days? In total I have been out for around 300 days (127 compassionate leave and about 170 days of annual lea...

Yes, I will be providing my original birth certificate (which includes names and details of parents) and a certified copy of the death certificate. My major concern is that even if the case worker is satisfied- he or she still requires the approval of a level 7 worker or the SEO From the guidance no...

More than 90 consecutive days outside the uk - ILR next week

I have finished all my preparation for my PEO appointment for ILR next week. Myself and 1 dependent. All is in order, but in 2007 I was outside the UK for 127 consecutive days due to the illness and subsequent passing of my father. Should I be hopeful and confident for a successful application? I ha...

323 days (190 paid holiday, 5 business, 128 Compassionate)

I am about to apply for my ILR (1.5 years on a work permit, 3.5 years on Tier 1 - with no break in between) I have just prepared my schedule of days outside the UK: 323 Total 190 paid holidays (was employed during this entire period, obviously includes weekends) 5 days for work travel 128 days away ...

Why all this talk of P60's? It's not the only requirement

Why are there so many mentions of submitting your P60's?

If you are able to provide your original payslips and bank statements (showing proof of salary being paid into your account) for the entire period, then there is NO need to also provide your P60's.

Correct?

Physically present in UK 5 years before application-ILR req?

I will be applying for ILR in the coming months- I have come across the following requirement- "The applicant must have physically present in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands on the day 5 years before the application is received by the Home Office" I...
