Guys,

I can't find in the FAQ that what is the criteria to become Junior member, member and senior member ?

Can anyone also let me know how many types of memberships are available at this forum and what are the benifits of all.

I think if you go to court, it would make things worse.

I would strongly suggest taking a professional advice before doing anything yourself.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I was only asking as I am myself on HSMP+Tier-1 and will be applying for ILR in May this year. So thought to check with you about the best way to book the appointment. Hopefully you will get your employment letter before 20th but even in worse case, I don’t think so thi...

Would you get the employment letter from HMRC before your appointment (which is 20th Jan) ?

Also did you book PEO appointment over the phone or via the UKBA site ?

That’s great. I think you did the right thing. The best substitute for a missing P60 is the employment letter from HMRC.

I don’t see any issue with that. I know people who have been doing odd jobs at the time of first hsmp and also at the time of extension and ILR, so you will be fine.

Do you have payslips and bank statements for the time you are missing the P60 for ?

That’s good. Unfortunately I will be applying in May this year (which is after 29th of Feb 2012) so I will have to take my dependants with me.

I am on HSMP+Tier-1.

Cheers,

Just realised that if you are talking about the P60 for the current year, then you don’t need to worry about it and you don’t need to get anything from HMRC as the financial year has not ended yet.

The case workers know this and all you need is your pay slips to cover for last 10 to 12 months.

You need to have P60s for all five years. If you are missing any of them, you can get your employment history from HMRC (I have seen a lot of people doing it on this forum and HO seems to be accepting it as a substitute of P60). I am not exactly sure that what it is called as I have never done it my...

Hi,

Is your wife in the UK for less than 5 years but more than 2 years ?

Also I am not sure about the Tier-2 requirements for ILR as I am myself in Tier-1.

You probably need some professional advice on this.

There won’t be an issue. Get your ILR on your current passport and once you get your new passport, you wont even need to carry your both old and new passports as from 29th Feb 2012, UKBA is issuing Biometric Cards for ILR applications (instead of a sticker on your passport). So you can carry that ca...

I would agree with Lucapooka. Dependant visa is definitely a better and more secure option as HO keeps on making PBS ILR tougher and tougher.

Guys, The rule is very straight forward and it doesn’t matter if a child is born after or before parent’s ILR. It also doesn’t matter if a child has a Tier-1 dependant visa or never had any visa since birth in UK. You don’t need to apply for ILR for a UK born child (and pay a fee of 600 to 700 pound...

It’s nice to have the Approval letter for HSMP and Tier 1 handy with you at the time of ILR. I have seen in posts that case workers often ask for at least the Tier-1 extension letter (which gives you the summary of points you were awarded). So I would suggest taking at least the Tier-1 Extension let...

I would agree with wp2tier1 as there is no need to take dependants (at least not until 29th of Feb 2012).

But after 29th of Feb, it would make sense to take the dependents as this is mandatory requirement for Biometrics.

It depends in what category you are currently in ? If you are in new HSMP+Tier-1, your wife only needs to be with you in last 2 years before applying for ILR. And if you are in old HSMP (Judicial Review) then it doesn’t matter when your wife came to UK and the 2 years requirement doesn’t apply to ol...

Based on the information you have told, your application looks very straight forward and should be decided on the same day.
