Have you actually bothered to read the SET(O) form.

Page 8 says: If you have a partner and/or any children under 18 who are living with you in the UK and who are applying for indefinite
leave to remain as your dependants, this is where you give their details.

You have to send your driver's licence with your application if you used it to take LiUK test.

But you should first send it to DVLA to get the address changed before sending it to Home Office for your Citizenship application.

This is a normal procedure by UKBA. They do security checks for all applications. If there are IT issues (which is very common) then the PEO can't make the decision same day and hold the application instead. Once the IT issues are resolved and they are able to do the security checks, they inform the...

At the moment only LiUK is required for settlement and naturalization BUT from 28 October 2013, applicants in both categories will be required to pass the Life in the UK Test and to hold a B1 (intermediate) level English language speaking and listening qualification.

This is a list of acceptable professional persons.

I don't think the software developer (or any IT person) can act as a professional referee unless he holds a valid qualification from BCS like AMBCS or MBCS.

shilpavemuri77: Do you physically need to be in France for this job. I mean a lot of employers allow work from home these days (but it really depends on the nature of job).

Not sure if your employer will let you work from UK until your ILR is sorted but this is one of the options you can consider.

It's just like your Driving Licence or Passport . They are also not valid forever and need to be renewed every 10 years . If you have a British passport that is valid for 10 years. You will continue to be British after the expiry of that document but you will need to apply for a new passport. It's ...

Your spouse has to get ILR first.

Also 3 years rule will only apply if you are a BC at that time (otherwise 5 years rule will apply).

Laxman: Why did it take you almost a year to realise this. UKBA stopped issuing ILRs on Passports since 29th Feb 2012. You must have got it before this date.

Even if you had sent a postal application before 29th Feb 2012, you should have got your ILR by Jul-Sep 2012.

They use DX Courier to deliver BRPs.

You need to contact UKBA on one of the emails above for your BRP.

Also call DX and ask if they have any package for you.

It shouldn't be a problem. Although it is advisable to have some funds in your account but I have seen several success stories where people got their ILRs with their accounts in over draft.
