Thanks Greenie. I tried at Earls Court post office, where the lady operating the system was very supportive. She accepted a photo in which my kid's eyes weren't exactly focussed at the camera (Saying that you can’t expect a 15 month old child to know where the camera is!). Two points to note from my...

Hi All, I received invitation to submit biometrics for myself and dependants at post office. While I and my wife were fine, my 15 month old daughter kept moving her face, hence her photograph could not be taken. Post office guys told me that I should go to a PEO. I tried booking a PEO appointment fo...

Urgent - Biometrics appointment

Hello, I have two urgent questions regarding biometrics appointment: 1. If the main applicant and dependant get seperate invitation letters with different case IDs, do we still have to book a joint appointment or can we book seperate appointments? (Solo appointments are much easy to get, hence my qu...

I didn't have to use that letter so not sure if it is acceptable, but yes the accountants at SJD are registered with approp...

Many thanks ILR_UK_, nnj10. Apologies for beating a dead horse but I did have a look at the guidance notes(http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/applicationforms/pbs/t1-general-guidance.pdf). Point 92 on page 17 says that "If an applicant is in salaried employment, (including a Director of a...

Dividends - Net or Gross

Hello, I have a query regarding income from dividends. For past earnings should I consider net dividends or gross dividends? I assumed that I should consider gross dividends just as we consider gross salary. However the info on http://firstmigration.com/visas/uk/tier-1-general-inside-uk suggests oth...

Sorry I did not provide complete information.
I had sent my Tier 1 extension application on 19th. It was received by the Home Office on 20th. Payment was debited yesterday.

Just wondering if I will get any acknowledgement mail? If yes by when?

Thanks.

Hi,

Will I be receiving any acknowledgement email from home office or only acknowledgement letter?
If they send out an email, how long after taking payment do they send it?

Thanks.
