Re: Previous employer

Hi Frontier mole. Its been more then 4 months when my company got downgraded to B rating. Hr has told me that they have made all the improvements and waiting for next steps. Does it normally take that long? Should HR inform UKVI that they have done their improvement plan (I'm pretty sure that they w...

Re: Previous employer

Thank you Frontier mole, I work for a big aerospace company, Is this a common practice to downgrade to B rating. I'm asking because the actions they have asked my company to do are just 2 (contact info not updated since 2015 in hr.net and process for informing ukvi in case an immigrant leaves the co...

Re: Previous employer

Dear Frontier mole or anyone else who knows the answer to this question.

If an employer is downgraded to Rating B, then in that case are the sponsored migrants allowed to travel to other countries for tourism purposes? Will there be any issue in coming back to UK even if the visa is downgraded?

Re: Tier 2 visa Extension supporting Doc

Did you get the removal letter from the same department at the same time. I think the removal department sits in a different office (Manchester). They may not be aware of the new application that you have made since their department is different. Once your visa was rejected they (Manchester) would h...

Re: my tier2 extension has been refused because of missing n

If you are switching employer or your job role is changing, then you need to apply as a new applicant. The new employer will have to do an RLMT properly. You cannot use tier 2 Extension application. Go to UKVI website and apply online. dont use the extend application link button. Moderators may be a...

Re: my tier2 extension has been refused because of missing n

What kind of visa did you apply for? Was it tier 2 extension or for a fresh tier 2 Visa? You should have applied for a new tier 2 visa since you were changing employers. Tier 2 Extension can only be used if you are with the same employer and want to keep working for them. The new company should have...

Re: Tier 2 fees: General or Shortage occupation? Up to 3 yea

Something similar happened to one of my colleagues. He had paid lesser fee and UKVI sent him a letter asking to pay the remainder. The letter states how and which ways you can pay. He payed by debit card.

Re: Tier 2 visa Extension supporting Doc

You can make a new application immediately if you want as far as I know. Just make sure your salary is correct. It would be beneficial for you if you mention what you are putting for your salary and what SOC code here on the forum so people can double check that it is right. Also what hours does you...

Re: Time required for increase unrestricted CoS allocation

Justification should be sufficient I think. The time line varies. Usually it takes 2-3 weeks, but mine came in 5 days. When is your visa expiring? If you still have time left then dont worry about it. you could ask your employer to phone UKVI up and give a really good reason why it is urgent then th...

Re: Final check - Tier 2 Application

Correct me if i'm wrong. But you may have filled the wrong application form. If you are switching jobs and your job code is changing or you are going to a different employer, then you need a new COS with an RLMT done by your new/current employer. You cant use tier 2 extension!! You will surely be re...

Re: UK Tier 2 Refusal and Next Step

Hi Kev, 1. I would advise that you apply for your visa first. Although they should allow you to come back, but given the fact that you were refused a visa recently might ring alarm bells somewhere. I Understand you might lose some money and fun by not going for your holiday but you need to weigh wha...

Re: Tier 2 General extension salary requirement

The Lawyer has given you wrong information!!! I applied for my Tier 2 extension this year and got rejected since my salary was not up to the experienced level. I then had to reapply for it with correct salary and it got approved. Read the tier 2 policy guidance for salary requirements. What iworker ...

Re: Tier 2 dependant wife to work in a different city !!

Thanks for the reply vinny. We'll just extend her stay on Tier 2 dependent itself. Much reasonable than applying through FLR and resetting the clock. I'd like to thank you and all the other mods who have been helping me other people with immigration questions. I read your replies to this post "http:...

Tier 2 dependant query

Hi All, After doing a little bit of more reading, I have got some questions. I will be eligible for ILR in April 2018 (Tier 2, 5 year route) and will apply for it. I will be applying using SET(O) form (is this correct?). My wife is on Tier 2 dependant (valid until April 2019). However I understand m...

Re: Tier 2 dependant wife to work in a different city !!

Its 2 and a half hours away (motorway driving) from my place of work. Most probably she will be coming down to my place over the weekends. We are going to keep all the address for documentation for her here where I live. She might even get work from home.

Re: Tier 2 dependant wife to work in a different city !!

I will just use my own income. Not sure what you mean by joint income?

Shes is working as a Tier 2 dependant so not sure if I will have to show that she is working as well?

Do you think these documents will be enough?

Re: Tier 2 dependant wife to work in a different city !!

So i will have plenty of bills in her name over the course of 2 years (I will apply for ILR in April 2018), Also I have my rent agreement with the landlord, which I will keep extending with her name on it. I will be applyin...

Re: Tier 2 dependant wife to work in a different city !!

Hi Thanks for your reply,

My next visa application will be for ILR. Her name is still there on the current house we are renting. And it will stay as it is.
We wont be changing her bank address as well and it will stay as it is.

What co-habitation documents will we have to submit?

thanks

Tier 2 dependant wife to work in a different city !!

Hi All,

My wife who is a tier 2 dependent has got a job in a different city and will be moving there. Her address will change as a result. I will visit her on the weekends. Do I need to inform UKVI about her address change using the change of circumstances form?

Kind regards

Re: Tier 2 General visa refused incorrect gross salary

Hi Leoo, You can ask your HR to call the UKVI helpline number for employers ( cant remember what the phone number is, your hr would know it or search online). Your HR can tell them how urgent it is as your visa expires in two weeks. Their policy is unless the matter is not urgent they wont expedite ...

Hi All, I'm getting married in next couple of weeks and will be applying for my wife's dependant visa after that from India (Tier 2 General dependant visa). I just had couple of queries. 1. We have to fill up application online now. Is it possible for me to start filling up the form now or wait till...
