I am submitting SET O and FLR M applications. Do I have to submit original docs as well as photocopies of all docs.

How about getting an extension first, and once you have acquired that, apply for ILR on 10yr basis. That way you avoid the difficult situation you are worrying about. Now you dont need to wait 6 months for a decision to be made on your long residence application. There is a super premium service which cost 6000 pounds plus the normal application fee and a decision is made within 24 hours.
