this should not have any impact as such - evidences in support of finance and ties with country of residence are far more important the issue you mentioned. so ensure all other supporting documents are correctly submitted.

There is no specific requirement that sponsor’s documents need to be original. Deception is a serious ofference and may lead to entry ban upto 10 years.

If you/your mother/family can support the trip financially and she can show her ties with the place of residence (economic / social / family etc) then she'll be granted a visitor visa.

The letter format is fine however as a sponsor you can only confirm sponsorship in the form of either financial support to the trip or accommodation or both. ... I reuqest moderators to work for these people's causes because this delay has caused severe frustration and distress. sexual relationship is irrelevant.

'related' in this context is related either by direct blood line or by family relationship (matrimony, civil relationship or live in relationship akin to marrige).

The two referees should not be ... sexual relationship with each other. I don't believe that this is relevant or any sort of requirement. They can be boyfriend/girlfriend. Yes, that's partially correct. SPs have jurisdiction to extend visas on certain circumstances.
He(You) would need to submit the visa extension form and certain other documents. However in the first stance please contact your local FRRO or SP's office for specific requirements and steps.
