I think both should be same, if i am correct. The evidence previously submitted would have been an original degree certificate. And you have to submit the same original (not a photo copy) certificate now. If you have studied here and got another degree here in UK, then you can submit the UK degree. ...

You get a bimetric card when your application for extension is successful.

If your extension is successful, you get a bimetric card, not a visa stamping in your passport (unlike your initial visa stamping).

If this is your second extension, you can submit the same evidence of Qualificaiton you submitted the first/second time. It is advised to submit the original document for qualification again, though the qualificaiton is in the list of the recognised degrees of UKBA.
