Please can you explain how she will qualify for naturalisation after 10 years, owing to her residence without CSI?
As part of the good character requirement for naturalisation, you must not have been in breach of immigration law at any time during last 10 years.

B1 is a speaking and listening test. It takes about 10 minutes and judging by your posts, you're about 100% likely to pass. It costs £150. You must do it at a Home Office approved centre, which in the UK is Trinity College London or IELTS. https://www.trinityselt.co.uk/OEWeb/loadExamDtl.do https://w...

Re: Surinder Singh and selfsufficient

I seem to remember another member here recently attempted to switch to FLR(M) after their EEA sponsor naturalised as British and lost their ability to sponsor them. The application was refused as they did not have valid leave under the immigration rules. Just to be clear, did the immigration officer...

That is the correct link to request your documents back. I believe they aim to return your documents within 10 working days but in reality, results vary widely. When I did it this time last year I got my passport back in 4 working days, but other members have reported waiting over a month.

Your husband cannot be your sponsor in the UK as he is British.

You mention you have always had private health insurance - this may qualify you as self sufficient. Have a look at that route.

As mentioned above, if you were born between 1st January 1983 and 1st October 2000 and at least one of your parents was exercising treaty rights (for example working) at the time of your birth, you are already a British citizen.

This is in the wrong section but hopefully a mod will move it soon. First things first, you cannot apply for a British passport until you are a British citizen. 1. Can I have Bulgarian (any EEA), Russian and UK citizenship? UK permits multiple citizenship almost unconditionally. Bulgaria appears to ...

What does SS mean? Also, for the sake of clarity, the 6-month rule you refer to when discussing the EU family residence permit is not correct. I am not trying to prove "who knows more", but simply wish to state a fact. The legislation regarding EU family residence permit in the EU does not have thi...

NARIC and a SELT are both £150. If she's comfortable taking an English test then that is by far the fastest option. You can probably get a test the same week. I did it with Trinity College and the test lasts 10 minutes. If she managed to get a degree taught in English, she will have no problem with ...

You are applying in your own right as a self sufficent qualified person. Your husband is not your sponsor (and cannot be as he is British) but you can certainly have been self sufficient from his funds. As you have had CSI in place, it seems you're nailed it. Re: How to register nationality of a baby?

Your baby has most likely acquired the nationality of the parents, depending on the nationality laws of those countries. It is highly unlikely the child has been born stateless. As neither parent was settled in the UK at the time of the birth, the baby is not automatically a British citizen. In immi...

Tier 1 Ent for Father - Option?

There are two Tier 1E routes: £50,000 and £200,000. The eligibility criteria differs slightly between them but you obviously need to have at least that amount of money to qualify for each route. Neither will help bring your mother to the UK. Unless she has a serious illness for which care in India i...

Re: Dilemma of getting marry or just leave the country

While performing new romance you should keep in mind that as you are an overstayer so you are at great risk and anywhere if you get caught then can be deported with entry ban. Home office don't care about romance and that's why there is none of such immigration route on that basis. Best is to retur...
