Re: Form AN (EEA) - Do I need other documents besides PR car

Shall do. I have already made a pretty comprehensive list for my PR application, which I am keeping up to date, so will use that. I am sure the UKBA has enough resources to do the appropriate checks before giving me a passport :D Many thanks and happy holidays! UKBA has not existed for years (It's ...

Re: Travelling after EEA2 Expires

Canadians are visa free into Schengen area countries anyway aren't they? No problem getting into Spain if so. Last time I checked Canadians are visa free into the UK too, so no problem getting on the flight back. You could either enter as a visitor (complete with UK visitor stamp in your passport) O...

An EEA family member residence card isn't a visa.

What is your nationality?

Re: Travelling after EEA2 Expires

Where are you travelling to? Getting into the UK shouldn't be too difficult, the problem will be getting on the plane at the other end.

You can always just apply for a family permit.

Re: Danish citizen married to UK national & living in UK.

You can now apply for DCPR online. It's a new service recently introduced by government. https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk/product/eea-pr It's a step by step thing and at the end, you print out the completed sections (could just be a few pages, certainly not all 85). There is also an EU passp...

Re: British Citizenship for Child born abroad Parents with P

As the child was born abroad, the registration as a British citizen will be done at discretion under section 3(1).

HO would usually expect BOTH parents to be settled (with PR or ILR) and at least one to be applying for British citizenship at the same time.

Why didn't you continue in your old thread :?: You are asking the same questions pretty much. :? Child will follow same visa path as mother, but can be registered as a British citizen once you have ILR. The child does not require ILR. Your wife doesn't need to switch to FLR(M) unless you are granted...

You should normally receive the passport within 10 working days. It depends on how quickly the council notifies HMPO that you have attended the ceremony.

Re: After EEA 5yrs Family permit, next?

The difference between PR and ILR is about £1875. Thankfully you're on the EEA migration route so you acquire automatically the much easier and cheaper (free) PR after 5 years. ILR is reserved for those on the much more expensive UK immigration route, and in some cases takes 10 (or more years) to qu...

Re: UK Residency Refusal

Hi! Long story short, my husband has been denied a permanent residency card because they were not able to verify that he has worked for the same company for ten years. He only needs 5 years to show he has acquired the right of PR. Has his company ever paid him? He should get a pay slip every week/m...

Re: Recent applications via EEA4

But that new Regulation 21 does not sit comfortably with the cleaner, purer EU law. I agree but we all know how much the HO (doesn't) care about following EU law. (6) Where— (a)there are circumstances beyond the control of an applicant for documentation under this Part; and (b)as a result, the appl...

EEA family permit is an entry clearance and only lasts 6 months.

Are you sure you don't actually have an EEA residence card (as a non-EEA family member of an EEA national)?

Re: Naturalisation after 5.5 years for EEA National?

Also be aware that the UKVI may update the application form in April 2017. Thank you very much for that, this is a good point. So I will need to refill the entire form in that case (or at least the updated pages). There is normally a 1 week grace period after the issuance of a new form where the ol...

Re: Please I need advice for applying for NA form

Doesn't sound like there is a problem from what you have stated. Why are you concerned? Is your B1 test from an approved test provider and taken at an approved test centre? Is there any reason to doubt that you are of good character ? Are your absences within the limits for naturalisation? Were you ...

Re: EEA PR for Children

If the children are EEA citizens, you are applying for registration certificates for them, not residence cards.

The correct form to use is EEA(QP). The EEA(FM) form is the application for a residence card for a non-EEA family member of an EEA national.
