I was just granted ILR yesterday under HSMP -JR received Sep 2006 and had no trouble at all because i had only last three years P60's.
Please read my time line report of how it worked, i applied in person at Croydon office yesterday.

Yes, you do need to fill in section 9 in Set O form as your initial application was approved in April 2007. Only the people who applied and got their initial application approved before 6 Nov 2006 and got entry clearance on that basis are covered under HSMP-JR and they don't need to fill in section ...

If you were given HSMP under JR then you will tick YES in payment details on page 2 of SET (O) form. There is no question about it.
