If they are blaming DX then surely they must also have the tracking number, ask for that and see if what they are saying is true

Re: Passport application - ILR Card needed?

But when those other set of eyes start forcing a requirement from their own misunderstanding, then avoiding the hassle alone is worth the additional cost of just posting it yourself as per OP. I was only comparing the cost, difficult to save £10 for curry dinner in any scenario  Besides this m...

Are you planning to hand deliver the application yourself?
Special delivery both ways alone can cost £10-14, besides its better to have another set of eyes go over the application in case you missed something

Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

I think He dont know how hard to get any country's visa, applying naturalisation is lot easier than the getting visa of different countries. you chose the right way but on wrong month like me. Re: section 5.2 - Referee forgot to write his age & professi

Double checking my form now, before I submit it next week, and notice that somewhat similar to the OP here, my referees have not entered their age (profession & how they know me are mentioned). They have however entered their date of birth, so I'm wondering whether I should just leave their age mis...

Re: Form AN Question

Just call up HMRC mate and ask if you owe then anything, if yes then how can you set up the payment. Its all up to the immigrant to have everything sorted unfortunately, neither HMRC nor HO care who's fault it maybe but if the taxes aren't in line then HO will hand down a refusal even if it was HMRC...

Re: Form AN Question

FPN means you broke the law and it means a criminal offence although traffic offences can be spent after a few years but the form is clearly asking to declare all traffic offences and not just those which happened in the recent past or are still unspent, in which case it will be a refusal for 3 years

Re: Form AN Question

Dude, have you read the form before posting or selecting your referees?

read 5.1, it clearly states the 2 referees should not be related to each other.

Also read 3.7, you have to declare all road traffic offences regardless of when they happened.

Re: Non paid TAX and naturalisation

You have to sort out all the arrears with HMRC first, HMRC may not be bothered with the amount but its up to you to clear it or it will be a straight refusal from HO if they find out, especially since its been outstanding for so long
