Yes, UKBa did a mistake. So even if you are sending your dependent application the same day, send it separately. I know it increases the documentation but it will save your few bucks. She needs to get herself into work by April 2012. to claim for a 12 month period .She will need to show she earned the money herself not the dependant. Sorry no two way about it.

Do I have to renew my passport before application

Hi everyone, I noticed my passport is expiring around the time I am applyimg for the extension of stay. Does it matter? Since we are using biometric cards now or I need to renew before applying?

2) what happens if you travel with an expired passpport?

Tier 1 General is highly skilled they are refering to tier 2 workers who do not neccessarily have to show they are earning up to a treashold level of money but they will now need to prove that ammount. Though some e.g PhD holders ina job are exempted Dont know if they will implement all these things...

Tier 1 General is closed to initial applications. I think thats why they did not mention it

coupled with the long processes involved with postal application and the delays these days, assuming aall docs. Are ready 3 months before expiryy when is it realistic to apply without risking another extension? Pls share your thought...

Cah IsA is a savings acc anyway. Home Office accept money from savings acc. I would suggest u a ask your bank if u can access all the funds in theISA anytime, if no restrictions on how much u can collect then u should be ok to use it
