There is a new requirement to meet English language. If you studied for a degree in the UK (or abroad in English), that would be enough. Otherwise, you will need to pass a test (in addition to Life n the UK) Well I only have Functional skills in English level 2 and now I'm doing GSCE in English but...

NCS will copy all your documents during the appointment and give them back to you. They send the copies directly to the HO. There is a fee for the service. I didn't mention how long you can stay abroad because there is no restriction (strictly speaking you are expected to intend to live in the UK a...

Thanks Jambo as always you reply with good info ;) What is the difference to apply through NCS? Does that mean I don't have to send my passport at all and they will...

LIUK is a must and having English qualifications does not exempt you as they are two completely separate tests and requirements. Also, please note that the test and books changed in March 2013 so make sure you get the correct version of the study materials. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/british...

Hi guys,

I have changed my full name via deed poll, I'm applying for BC on February, can I just send my deed poll certificate with new name and my passport(my nationality passport) with old name, would that be an issue? Do I have to change my national passport name as well?

Many thanks guys.

You also need to submit your passport to show you meet the residence requirements (the PR doesn't prove that. It only proves you have PR). Thanks Jambo, ok I will send my both passports and de...
