If you are married from May 2007 and lived together in UK and your wife exercised her treaty right throughout 5 years(with evidence) then stop hesitating and just apply for it, you do qualify for PR, good luck
Bare in mind,,,,HO staffs not all the same with the knowledge

Reda, U did a good trick 1 month early and u received ur COA, I presume if they need any more evidence then they will ask u for it,,,if u just send them that would be an extra time to some1 review them,,, but that's just my opinion

I'm not so sure but if u have been out of UK for six month or less(once in 5 yrs) or out of UK for business purposes u might be ok but still has to be during 5 yrs of residency(which u said 2008) so I guess it's not 5 yrs yet,,,,

Hi reda, it has been almost 5 weeks u applied for PR and u haven't received COA yet!!! u should call HO,,,unless u still have RC valid so HO knows u don't need any confirmation from HO stating u r eligible for work.

All I was asking was,,, been in a relation with EEA for 2 years before marriage counts for 5 yrs regulations for PR or not,,,,some people just had work permit(lived together 5 yrs) and after refusal they got the PR.
That is not family member but partner in relationship.

Who can apply for work permit and how long is the visa for? does work permit means a family member under EU regulations(when u r living with EEA spouse but not married) and is it count for 5 yrs residency towards PR?
